looks like he won't be going to Bolton Wanderers after all. British Government won't issue him a work permit, but Bolton are appealing.

Hi guys,

I am Iranian and I am new to this forum. I come as a friend and want to say a few things on this issue.

I was born and raised in Tehran. Ever since I was a kid I always had many Armenian friends in the neighbourhood. For us there was never any difference between moslems, christians, xxxs or anything. My Armenian friends were just as Iranian as I was. We used to go and watch Arrarat in Tehran league and support them againt many teams, specially against Perspolis because we are all Esteghlal fans. In fact in Iran, the Armenians are known to be mostly Esteghlal fans.

Anyway, what you guys don't realise is that Teymourian is NOT Armenian by nationality. He is Armenian by Religion. THAT'S ALL. He is Iranian. Just like the other 70 million Iranians, he is patriotic about Iran. There is a difference betwee nationality and ethnicity which some of you perhaps don't understand.

When Ando played in the World cup he was more patriotic for Iran than some xxxxxxxs like Karimi and Daei who just caused problems. He will now go to Bolton as an Iranian International, not as an Armenian International. He was born and raised in Iran, just like his ancestors of the last 2000 years.

Anyway, he is not the first player of Armenian religion to play for Iran. Eskadarian played in the World Cup fr Iran in 1978 and there have been many other players since, like Edmond Akhtar and Edmond Bezik more recently.

As a moslem Iranian, I don't care what religion people are, as long as he is Iranian. Ando is as Iranian as I am and I will love and support him everytime he plays for Bolton.
