Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

I cant' say I am as excited about Shamrock and Ortiz.

I've checked them out on-line. They're tied now, right? Arlovski brings much more energy and fire to it, so I hope he wins, plus Silvia comes off as too xxxxy and aloof.

I concur. Plus Arlovski is from Belarus so if he wins we can sit down and always have vodka shots with him. He can hang.

I follow mixed martial arts alot, and it's one of my favorite hobbies since I love fighting and I have followed the early UFCs from the beginning and in the process any and all fighters that came along. Belfort happens to be one of them, and in the MMA forums, we always talk about fighters and their life history so we know alot about them. I also know Belfort's sister was kidnapped and murdered so that had alot of effect on his fighting game as well.

So who won? I was on UFCtv.com and noticed the play by play for the Ortiz fight ... no big shocker there. I want to see AA win the heavyweight title back for Chi-town!

Did you watch the UltFighter 3 finale Anon? The red head dude was an ass the entire season. I'm glad Kendal won although I feel both need some serious work getting ready for more seasoned fighters.

I love MMA but I fu*cking hate PPV. $40 pffftt. The money isn't the object more than what you get for the money which is like a bunch of hella quick fights. How much do the tix cost?

But you will go as far as to enter a thread dedicated to UFC and post your opinion?

So AA lost huh? What's your take on UFC 61? I would have paid if I knew there was more than 2 bloody fights!! There were like seemingly 6? Why don't they advertise the other fights that are going to take place. I thought it was just a bitter rivals exhibition 2 fight thing. They never mentioned the other fights ... regarless if you are just such a huge fan of MMA and just KNOW there will be more to it than just the 2 fights they should have done a better job marketing the lesser know bouts imo.

                Sorry to dbl post

He went through a period of falling down and losses and he has yet to bounce back. It's a shame for someone with so much potential and married to Joana Prado (I think if they are still together).

Vitor Belfort should definitely get back though. It is a shame indeed. I would personally like to see him return as he is also one of the top moguls of the UFC. Personally, I would like to see him return to the cage and KO Tito asap.

Sadly that had to occur and put a crimp in a lot of the good fans' of the sport, hearts. But what even further placed a lot of other decent loyal fans in a state of melancholy was the way Shamrock got robbed of that premature stoppage. I say Ken is still and will always the one of the best icons of the UFC. However, his last glorious days are pretty much numbered within correlation to the mighty sunset that brought such an elite fighter to the UFC.

Shamrock's best options right now are either a) he needs to win 1 more fight and just retire or b) he just needs to move up in weight class where he surprisingly enough was dominant and then finally retire at 220. Hopefully, after his last run, someone would annihilate that nuisance Tito Ortiz.

Tito has already been annihilated twice, once by Randy Couture and once by Chuck Liddell. Even the fight with Vitor was a close one and many believe Vitor was robbed of the decision. Either way, Tito is not the best and his one dimensional style has been exposed. Just wait again.
