Re: Improving the Forum
May I create new threads of all the world countries that don't have individual threads in this forum yet?
I have a great geography textbook, where all the countries' names are listed.

Re: Improving the Forum
Was OK on April 24th here (i.e. Europe), but not on the 25th. Maybe it was still the 24th on America's west coast.Originally posted by TomServo View PostWas the forum really down on April 24?
Are there server problems? What's going on?

It's dead because everyone is on Facebook these daysOriginally posted by TomServo View PostThere's always Hye4um.
Both that forum and this one are like abandoned amusement parks nowadays... pretty depressing. I wonder if the name switch from ArmenianClub to HyeClub was one of the reasons for the decline in new members? Or the rise of social media sites like Facebook and Twitter?

That logging out never happens to me unless I don't check the "remember me" button. It's probably the Cooke expiring I guess?

Re: Improving the Forum
That is true. It doesn't encourage careful posts when, if you take any time to read a thread, and then want to write something in reply, you risk being logged out by the time you come to post. It could probably be easily fixed - there might be a setting somewhere to extend the time before members are logged out. (And, yes, I got the usual "You do not have permission to perform this action. Please refresh the page and login before trying again" message when I went to post this!)Originally posted by Eddo211 View Post.....can't even stay logged in 5 min to make a freaking post.
And the way the "new posts" function performs is annoying - click on it before you do anything and you get a list of anything new since your last visit, but make a single post and that list of posts made since your last login are lost - all you see listed is the post you just made. And log out and then in again and you see nothing.

Re: Improving the Forum
As far as improving this forum there is no hope...it should be closed down if you ask me. I only stick around here because its an Armenian forum and because of the NKR thread.
The best thing that can happen is for ZORAVAR, burjuin, Federate, and others here to open an Armenian Defence Forum (ADF)....everyone else's country has one expect us.
