I went into your user settings and selected it to save a copy of the PM in your sent messages by default. Hopefully that solves your problem. I think perhaps you weren't checking the right button or you were checking it at the wrong time or something.

If you have checked "save a copy" then I am not sure what else would be the issue. Submit is how you send the PM. The messaging system is functioning, so it must be something about what you are doing;with the information you have provided, it is not evident to me exactly what though.

I just figured out how to PM ( I think ). I've PM'd before but it's been a " hit or miss " for me .
Today ( 1/27/13 ) I PM'd someone ( I think ? ) . I pushed " submit " and also pushed the " save in send " .
However when I pushed sent messages button , it says that I've sent nothing !!
Any help or suggestions are appreciated .

What the hell could --- SUBMIT message mean other than I want to send the god damn message ???????
Now I have to rewrite message and hope its worded as well as my much considered original words .

Yes, that's what it is because Harry never verified his email address which from the name is definitely a spammer unless he's a very enthusiastic pharmacist. The sheer volume of spammers has forced me to make the registration process a little more complicated and this is just one of the side effects of that. These unapproved accounts exist but are not viewable by others until they are both verified and approved. While these users are able to browse a lot of the site, they are not able to post or message people. Still though, because they can view the forum, they show up as having visited the forum, viewing a thread, or visiting a profile.
I delete the verified spammers every couple days or so; I went through them all yesterday but as you can see from the list of visitors today, there are many many more who don't even get to that step of verifying an email address. Those remain a little longer because the process to delete those users is a bit different and I only do that about every 2-3 months.

Seriously guys? That's the first thing I did... It worked fine for me and that's why I asked for a screen capture. I'm not completely stupid -- geez!

It's probably the unapproved accounts that have not done the email verification that are in this limbo where they exist but are severely limited. Harry is one such account and as I said, a spam account. MOVE ON. You haven't missed an interaction with a worthwhile new friend.

Click onto just about every recent visitor on siggie's own page to get the same thing! Who is Dafshishapy, erypeimibre, InesUnwisasep, RemReunty, TrakariaSep, undignetdog, etc.?

Your comment about random spammers is confusing.
I have 10 visitors on my user page. I can "touch" the names of nine of these visitors and their user page appears on my screen, but Uttertharry's user page does not ! Instead I'm told I don't have permission to access this page and asked if I'm trying to do something to someone else post ?
Why 9 visitors can I check out their user page (but) not number 10 ?
Simple question.

Just go to Artashes' user page, look at the list of visitors, and click onto "Utterharry" to see what he is asking about.
