And it most certainly is a USER ERROR issue. I bet you're typing your reply in the quote brackets and that's why it says your message is too short. It doesn't count what's quoted as part of your response and responses fewer than a few characters aren't permitted. That's to discourage people from replying with "lol" type one-word responses.

As far as the private messages go. I do not know what you sent or when you sent it. I said I went into your SETTINGS and changed it to save a copy of sent messages in the sent folder by default. That is all. When you change a setting for something, it changes things going forward. I cannot pull something you didn't save out of thin air.

My question to you about your retrieving my info by default doesn't require me to take a computer class .
If you retrieved that info then it's there . The question is you telling me it's there when it's not showing !!!

From your seat if you say it's in my sent box then it --- has to be --- .!!! It cannot be sent on your side and not on mine !!! You cannot show on your computer that my message is sent and my I pad show it isn't sent !!!

Am I misreading your quoted post ? Are you not saying that you were able to -- save -- a copy of my sent PM by a default ..... And that my message has been successfully sent ?

I went into your user settings and selected it to save a copy of the PM in your sent messages by default. Hopefully that solves your problem. I think perhaps you weren't checking the right button or you were checking it at the wrong time or something.

Ok , the slick act is still in force .
I pushed the " reply with quote " to my post preceding this post , and got the same fraudulent "screen " .
It's the one that when I respond I get the message --- your message is to short bla bla bla crap .
The only way I can put a word up is to puss --- reply to thread .
These words I have just written have nothing to do with what I wanted to write.
But , this putting up two different screens has been highly successful in frustrating me by making me write everything twice , only to find out nothing appears .

I'm going to paint a picture and ASK a question .
If I'm not logged in and I push someone's name their info page appears , but no PM option appears .
If I log in and push someone's name , the PM option appears as well as other options .
The last five (5) times I tried to PM someone , a screen appears with a narrow rectangular box with the wor "TITLE" above the box .
It's as if I have to put a title to a PM ????????? Is that kosher ?
Can't help but feel I'm being jacked with .
None of these words have anything to do with what was on my mind but have been a highly successful differsionary .....

Tried to reply to Bells comment on Syria and Armo peop -- wrote response and screen says message too short --
Tried three more times and get different formate
Looked again and saw "autosave" and touched that. My original message appears !!!!!!!!
Who is at the helm --- NOW --- 2:25mAlaska time on jan 29 ---
I want those words that I wrote printed with a quote of Bells post !!!!!
