Unfortunately, a lot of Armenians in Los Angeles venerate him.

It's all utter garbage to me. Growing up here in the states I never liked or understood that sub-culture, nor do I now. I would never allow my children to listen to such garbage. As far as Armenians listening to it, all I can say is that trash attracts trash and trash does not have national boundaries.

It's an epidemic that exists everywhere. You may not believe how much that 'American' sub-culture is popular in a country like Iran. And unfortunately those children who are not into that culture are often considered 'hetamnats'...
I might be wrong but I see Hayastantsi kids a bit different from others, intellectually speaking that is.
