Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Re: Protest U.S. Pressure on Armenia to Accept "Historical Commission"

I just find it ironic how the Obama Administration is the most Pro-Turk and anti-Armenian in all US history after ANCA and alot of Armenians threw their support around phoney Obama.

Those protocols are going to be passed and everyone can forget about recognizing the Armenian Genocide for good from now on. Its over!
Armenians in the US got too powerful and too close to recognition of the Genocide. The Obama Administration has a puppet Armenian President who will put the nail in the coffin for all Armenians in the US and continue to put Turks and Turkey on a high pedestal, while there are hardly any Turkish-Americans-their numbers are low. They hold no powerful positions and live in muslim communities in New Jersey mostly, which they haved move into from turkey since 1999. More are coming!.. Turks had a 1 week long festival in NY, advertised on billboards and newspapers--first time.. While the Armenian festival in Mahattan was shut down years ago by Mayor Bloomberg. Also for the first time, they hold an Anti Armenian, Genocide denial rally the day before Armenians hold their Genocide Commemoration in April in Times Square.
Dont people see whats happening here?

The only high profile Turk is Dr. Oz, who the xxxws put in place. Armenians in the US are being treated like second class citizens. Negative tv shows potraying them, etc.

I also find it amusing that no High Profile Armenian has brought any attention to this, they just say nothing as usual. So typical.

Man what are you talkin about? Plenty of high profile armenians have screamed their heads off before, you make it sound like they dont care which is bs! Just go chek out some SOD projects and events related to genocide recognition. As for all the efforts to woo polititions, this is exactly what i have been talking about for all the political capitol the diaspora has managed to get they have gotten NOTHING to show for it. I laughed so hard when the leader of the ANCA was saying Armenias government is squandering the political capitol of the diaspora, like what capitol you moron? ANCA supported the Obama-Biden ticket and once they were elected they showed exactly how much political power the anca and the diaspora have-NONE! Stop supporting these hacks who have been in bed with polititions for so long they forgot what they were sent there to do. Save your money, buy a plane ticket, go to Armenia, meet the people, experience the country, you will be doing way more good this way and hell you will enjoy it to!

The leader of ANCA could be pushing around that weight of his a little more. He's just another fat institutionalized paper weight.

There is NO DOUBT our ancestors were the victims of one of many atrocious crimes against humanity.
Because we're not like Israel who have more than 80% members in both the US congress and the senate. We don't own like them the US media 100% and we don't own mega dollars. Whatever Israel and Jews want the US adheres to it like a little dog or slave. Same as Obama, some said it in here already that he is merely their puppet.

As much as some in here want to think so highly of the Russians; the Russians haven't saved us from this black day either. Plus we have another deceitful "Vasag" for Armenia's president, thanks to Serj Sargsyan.

Let Turkey hold its 'rally' and Armenians will continue to gain even greater support in the EU, Russia and the rest of the world for Genocide Recognition, also Armenia has lots of support in the Nobel Peace Prize establishment as well as among the world's historical community and human rights organisations.

If New York wants to turn itself into a haven of Turks and Turkish nationalism it can, but regardless in the world as a whole despite the Turkish propaganda and hate speech there is a clear movement towards Armenian genocide recognition.

Also its only a matter of time till China recognises the Armenian Genocide (which will add further help to the Armenian cause) if Turkey continues accusing China of Genocide.

Anoush we dont know how dark this day is or is not yet, much will depend on what happens in the coming years. Russia is a country that looks after its own interests just like any other country would so there is no need to say russia is a saint or the devil. As for Serj, he is also neither a saint nor a devile. The man must do what he is dictated to do by the big powers or else he will be replaced by someone who will. Armenia is a small nation it does not have the power to confront anyone let alone the world powers thus it must do as they please. Russia for Armenia is a savior, sure it saves us because of selfinterest but without her there is no Armenia at all. I wish people who demonise others would stop doing it and instead of bloging about hate maybe you can do something useful instead.

Yeah like praise you for your voice of naivete since the dooms day of this black day of the protocols?

If Serj was a patriotic man or any other good patriotic president could have done is letting Russia know in no uncertain terms by bringing up intelligently political arguments that giving up our rights to Western Armenia is no way acceptable with us, thus it is immoral and turkey must pay us a renumeration by the return of our anscestral lands. When you give an inch to those barbaric people they will demand your whole arm and leg. Yes he certainly could have done that the Vasak Serj.

What on earth makes you think Serj could stand up to Putin? I think you like many others live in your own dreamworld.

Of course it's hard for him to stand up when he's holding his ankles.
