Alpha, you provide a lot of accusations without much or any evidence. When was the last time you visited Armenia? At least if you told me you witnessed some of this last year or something I would better understand why you think some of the things you do.

Wait, do you guys really expect this to be headlines in Yerevan? I can only tell you that I've never met a person who actually has done so (bought, built, or remodeled a factory, store, industry, or any other type of investment) in Armenia and not been burnt. None. I've MANY people who have invested in Armenia, directly, boo-koo dollars. Almost the same could be said for many charities.

Maybe if you're a part of the establishment there, you won't see a problem with it...or maybe its just something akhpar-jans experience. I'm really surprised anyone is acting like it isn't as common as it is.

I wish it weren't so but its been that way since the Soviet days.

You personally attacked me and you know it. Artsakh's war is part of Armenia. They are made up of Armenian people and Artsakh is part of our historical land. Regardless, the two children that I personally supported, their fathers were Armenian from Armenia who fought in the Artsakh war and died and I have each supported one young girl and another young boy for six years each, young man. You are so gung ho whether I personally have gone to Armenia and the answer is yes I have gone to Armenia for three weeks, not recently but I have gone. Plus I have also sent monies to other needy people in Armenia. I was smart however not to send it by mail, but by a trusted individual so that the oligarchs or others wouldn't steal my money and it'll go right into the hands of the needy in Armenia.

Let me ask you a question. If you were not 18 or 20 years old and you were born earlier in life, and you were a young man at around 1990-1994; would you have gone to Artsakh to fight for our land in there? If I wasn't pregnant then, I would have.

I would have been one of the first to go and fight and if the war restarts I'll get on the first plane to go and fight. I'll not leave my family thee to fight on their own I'll be there to support them.

And my attacks weren't about Artsakh war if you went to fight there or didn't or you practiced charity or not. That was not my point, my point was how much money to you have invested in Armenia? I'm not talking about charity or anything else. Because that will not help, it has never helped and it never will. You need to go there and invest in the businesses and be a partner for them so that you'll get a peace of the profit and you can reinvest it. That is what Armenia needs.

You know why because the Armenian government doesn't have the money to run on it's own it needs the help of an investor. And the ones who were prepared to pay the largest sum of money were the Russians. And where was the Diaspora then? Couldn't they have bought those companies?

If it wasn't profitable, why did the Russians buy them? That's ridiculous...cell phone service, natural gas distribution...I can't remember most of them but they come up about once every 4-5 months.

I believe you, I mean if there is an Artsakh war again or Naxichevan that you'll be there to support the army and fight for our lands. Bravo that'll be the identical picture of myself.

On your second sentence, I agree with you we could all go there and invest however small businesses. Even though there's a great many rich Armenians in the Diaspora that do not do it. Some have but I still think that most didn't yet. I would think that with our US dollars we could have a business in there and even keep store. I am not rich by no means; and I haven't worked for a good many years to rearback my child, but nonetheless we can do part time jobs in here, make money and go there and invest by creating a business, any business. Yes I do agree with you on that. We could do it. Now or for me when I work, make money and invest it in our homeland.

Just for the record, I wished to do this two years ago but my poor mom fell and had a brain surgery to remove the blood clot from her brain and she was disabled and I had to assist her and look after her and I couldn't look for a job because of it, and now my beloved poor mom has passed on.... and I am hurting in my heart and I am also hurting for Armenia. I am very sad but I am an Armenian and Armenians are resilient and have strength to survive and do good and so do I.

It is hard to lose a loved one, i have lost many but they all live in my memories. Sometimes their loss doesnt really hit you until much later.

I know what you mean. I had the best specimen of a mother for motherhood. Haykakan, I could literally write a book about her saintliness, her goodness, her sweet sweet nature. My father was a good breadwinner and a good Armenian man but he was very hard to please, and at the end of his life he said that my mother could live with anyone in the world. My mother was a peacemaker, a real angel, she was so kind, humble, good natured, calm, peace loving, sensitive, a very good knowledgeable and a well read Armenian woman and the most kindest and the loveliest person I'll ever know. She was hard working, dedicated to her loved ones and her family, to her Armenian community as she was a nurse and a treasurer for the ARS for 7 years, a terrific neighbour and basically an exceptional good human being. You simply can never get enough of people like that, especially with a world full of devilish people. She was called by someone the sister of mother of God. I truly lost the very best part of my heart and it will always hurt until I die and until I meet her again, hopefully in heavan. Until then she will be missed something terrible for the rest of my lifetime, my kindest and my sweetest mother.
