Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Aposh, were you not implying something by this article? Look at how you worded the title. Is it so hard to imagine that one would think you were picking on the guy for buying a foreign company?

Second, I am not a Dashnak, and even if I were you shouldn't make blanket statements without at least qualifers to go along with it.

Third, you continue to make stupid remarks about Armenia, calling it 'Eastern Armenia", saying it is not part of historical Armenia, mafia runs Armenia, etc. The last time you were there was like 15 years ago. If you haven't been there personally in the last 2 years then you really have no idea what the country is like, I don't give a sh*t what someone told you or what you read.

Lastly, I'm not you son, d-bag.
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.

That house isn't next to Dodi Gago's though, I don't think that's his son's. I remember reading something written here by "Armenian" that said it was built by some dude that was eventually killed.

Cat, That video is Eastern Armenian (what they speak in Russia and former SSR's). Basically, they're commenting on the spectacle. I speak Western Armenian.

I can't believe it took so long for the donkey to kick...that's how they usually kill animals/people.

Speaking of jackasses, armanen, what's your problem with me? Why can't you stick to the issues instead of making it about me in every thread? I'm not trying to imply anything, and you're the only one who think so or keeps attacking me here. Why not just talk about the topics? Do you really think people take your internet trash talk as bravery? Stick to the issues if you can, and spare the jibberish about someone you dont want to see face to face.

And of course you're not my son. You see, THAT was a comment where I implied something...and you didn't even get it. You need to calm down, girl. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_GJkKMPHxw

Don't know if that's true or not but its the modus operandi of those who get in the way of the oligopolists / government, making it incredibly believable. The fact that I can accept that as 'probably true' is a shame to our nation and status quo. The only way to counter this establishment is a revolution from outside, such as an ARF takeover of the government. I can certainly criticize them for their history as well, but its the only force that can enlighten and revolutionize our nation and bring a middle class to Armenia.

My problem with you is that you post ignorant comments about Armenia, constantly complain about things, and don't really have a clue about international relations or geopolitics yet act as if you do.

The only e-thug here is you, especially by saying this: 'spare the jibberish about someone you dont want to see face to face.'

I will continue to counter your idiotic comments when I see them, and I know I am not the only one, so I suggest you get used to it.

It's not his house, his is even bigger and in even worse taste (seach Youtube for Tsarukyan wedding). I think that one belongs to some beer baron.

A comment on wikipedia says that the "dod" is his father's name, so it really means "Dod's little Gagik". Problem is, his father's name is not "Dod" or anything like it (unless "Dod" was his father's nickname).

I've heard that "dod" means idiot which could've been his father's nickname. Dodi Gago would literally be "Idiot's Gagik". If the father thing is correct, we might've solved it.

I was wondering if anything that was said indicates where it was filmed. The video has been clained to have been filmed at Tsarukyan's private zoo but he has denied it. Though how many private zoos are there in Armenia?

I heard from several people that the nick began as 'Dogi Gago' since he kept a stable of dogs and it started out as "Dogi Gago" (I know sounds like some rapper's name, also weird to use English, but such is the mythos behind the name). Obviously to most ears it sounded "Dodi" (lit. Idiot's, the ini at the end is a possessive) and the name stuck.

P.S. He has indeed won several championships in arm wrestling.
