      Iran and the pug-dog
Voskanapat.info . Azerbaijan fought on Iran. Seriously. And not just fought, but also threatens: it is said, look at me, my patience runs out and then nesdobrovat you. And wrote on the banners: "Iran is not testing our patience!" And not only wrote but also says. So far, only in the newspapers and the walls of the Milli Majlis. Azerbaijani MPs are deprived of their right to even blow his nose without permission, got the team slack off Iran. For the sake of some neighbors and not to States.
Generally, the insults to the sound of Iranian Azerbaijan long ago. The Government of Iran, the Azerbaijani press, for example, was referred to as "mullokratiya" Tehran "accused" in the violence against the living in Iran, "Azerbaijanis", and as recently told us WikiLeaks, Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov complained to U.S. Ambassador Anne Derse, "Iran, Azerbaijan flooding drugs, thus striving to achieve destabilization."
January 31 Committee of the World Azerbaijanis (CWA) called on the Chief Executive of Baku Hajibala Abutalibov to authorize the holding of protest outside the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baku. KAMovtsy suggest to protest against the interference by certain forces of Iran in the internal affairs of Azerbaijan "," anti-Azerbaijani propaganda carried out by Iranian television station Syahyar2 "," insults the KAM (!? - LM-Sh) and, naturally, against bonds Iran and Armenia. "
The latter fact is very interesting, because in Baku, apparently imagines himself the right to choose friends for Iran. And outraged KAMovtsev signed on 29 January in Tehran agreement between Iran and Armenia to build an oil pipeline. How indignantly declared the next day in the Parliament Azerbaijani MP Azay Guliyev: "Iranian Oil Minister proudly announced that from now on Armenia will have no shortage of energy resources, as it will be held pipeline from Tabriz to Armenia. Generally, the contract for construction of the pipeline affected millimedzhlismenov Azerbaijan like a red rag to a bull, but more on that below.
If anyone had doubts that the requested Cam permission to "protest" will be received after the first meeting of the spring session of the Parliament of Azerbaijan doubts fell away even the most inveterate optimists. Perhaps never before in the brief history of Azerbaijan walls of Parliament of this entity have not heard so many accusations and insults against Iran. MP Zahid Oruj, for example, to the point of what he called Iran a friendly step against Azerbaijan ... anti-Azerbaijani strategy. "Iran has consistently pursued a policy aimed against Azerbaijan. Even the unilateral cancellation of the visa regime - is nothing more than as a component of anti-Azerbaijani strategy "- klikushestvoval Orudj. Then, the Azeri people's choice "almost word for word repeated Khalafov:" Iran is engaged in the illegal export of drugs to our country "and at the very end gave the main accusation:" Iran strongly supports Armenia. "
One is a statement would be enough to Baku Mayor G. Abutalibov immediately granted permission to "protest" and he himself had walked in her front row. However, deputies have received an indication lined up. Azay Guliyev: "All of Iran's actions threaten the national interests of Azerbaijan." Fazail Agamali: "Iran has recently not only leads a frank anti-Azerbaijani politics, but attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of Azerbaijan up to change the constitutional order. We must resist these attempts, indeed raise the issue at the international level, restoration of the rights of our compatriots living in Iran. "
Along with the performances in the Milli Majlis, the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Istanbul carried their "protest". Gathered in front of dozens of Iranian Consulate Caucasian Turks chanted slogans: "Hands off from Azerbaijan", "not conducive to increasing brazenness of Armenia, helping her," "Iran, test our patience," "Armenia, test our patience!" . And, of course, the Caucasian Turks have a brother shared with the Turks, Anatolian: "Karabakh belongs to Turks!"
However, they Azerbaijani MPs were not limited to one attack against Iran: painfully annoyed Aliyev's agreement to build a pipeline Iran - Armenia. For this reason, verbal attacks gradually escalated into threats. Thus, the above-mentioned Zahid Oruj urged the people of Azerbaijan "in protest to stop travel to a neighboring country." "Most of the young Azerbaijanis visiting Iran, becomes addicted to drugs. The main aim of Iran's policy in the region is the physical destruction of the Azerbaijanis, "- he warned colleagues in parliament. And the phase Agamali proposed to "raise the issue at the international level restore the rights of our fellow citizens (of Turkic-speaking Iranians - LM-Sh) living in Iran." Pheasant supported deputies Mubariz Gurbanli and Malahat Ibrahim gizi.
Summed up everything said heavy artillery of the Azerbaijani MPs, religious parliamentarian and member of the clan Pashayev Pashayeva. "We must urge our compatriots in Iran, so they do not prevent such interference in the affairs of Azerbaijan", - she said, and immediately proposed a plan capable of success in its implementation, cause civil war in Iran. "Azeri (Turkic-speaking Iranians - LM-Sh) living in Iran should prevent attempts to gain Armenia from the Iranian state." Appeal to multimillion Turkic-speaking population of the neighboring country called for the fight against their own state, as well as attempts to involve the citizens of Iran in the standoff between Azerbaijan and Armenian states is no more than a desire to split Iran.
It is difficult to say how Tehran responds to the anti-Iran Sabbath in Azerbaijan, probably just otmahnetsya lazily from the evil yapping lap-dogs. But here's Armenia can not and must not remain silent, for outgoing calls from Azerbaijan are able to blow up a shaky peace in the region. Based on the misanthropic and fascist logic of Azerbaijan, Armenia has long had to declare war on the States involved in regional anti-Armenian energy and communication projects. The desire of Azerbaijan to solve their own problems bogus proxy is fraught with grave consequences for the entire region, and this must be brought to the States and international organizations. The ones in an effort worthy of praise that Azerbaijan is ready to wage war on the whole of Asia Minor.
There is in this whole story is another rationale: the authoritarian Azerbaijan is scared of events in Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Yemen ... Aliev, better than anyone else, understands the precariousness of his position on the background of turbulent events in other authoritarian Islamic states, and seeks to "re-orient "the anger of the population in Iran and Armenia. And although his attempts to destroy the friendship between the two neighboring countries are doomed to fail, the very desire of Azerbaijan to plunge the region into an abyss of hatred and permanent war should be strictly condemned. And not just Armenia.

      Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan

how azeris are basically trying to cause a civil war in Iran. How they keep claiming they dont get involved with other countries internal affairs and yet keep threatening Iran. Like the article said, Armenia has to respond to this.

Pakistan does not recognize Armenia as state, ambassador says

Pakistan does not recognize Armenia as an independent state, said Pakistani Ambassador in Baku.

Talking to the journalists Ambassador said a country openly ignoring the international law and occupying territory of the other country cannot be Pakistan’s friend, SalamNews reported.

“We have been supporting Azerbaijan since the very day of its independence and will support it in the future. Azerbaijan’s problem is Pakistan’s problem as well,” he said.

Azerbaijan strains its relations with Iran and Turkey due to Armenia
Who knows - maybe Baku is afraid of the “influential Armenian lobby” worldwide?

It seems that Azerbaijan deliberately strains its relations with Iran and Turkey, using the Armenian factor as a cover. Any joint action of Armenia with Iran or even with Turkey immediately causes strict criticism of Baku authorities through controllable media.
              February 4, 2011
PanARMENIAN.Net - This was the case with the monument in Kars, now Azerbaijani journalists have another target – the event organized by Turkish Ambassador to the U.S. Namik Tan in Washington to commemorate Hrant Dink. All fine and dandy, but Turkey uses an Azerbaijani song to improve its relations with Armenia. This refers to famous song “Sari Gelin,” the authorship of which is disputed by Turks and Armenians. Recently, Azerbaijanis also started laying claims to its authorship.

Vesti.az wrote: “Turkey took a step to improve its relations with Armenia. And in this case, naturally, Turkey pursues its own goals, to which there cannot be any demands. But a question arises as to why the improvement takes place at the expense of Azerbaijani song “Sari Gelin.” Music is naturally an exalted notion, which unites the best human qualities. But the Turkish Ambassador has forgotten that even music is viewed by Armenians not as an exalted notion, but as a policy tool. Being a diplomat, Tan stated that future generations of Armenians and Turks should not hate each other. Mr. Ambassador, sometimes you need to be not only a diplomat, but also a clear-headed man or far-sighted politician.”

One could laugh at another masterpiece of the Azerbaijani propaganda, but it's not all as easy as it sounds. Baku hangs upon words, which, according to Aliyev’s clan, are related to willingness of Iran, Turkey, Georgia and other countries to establish normal relations with Armenia. Who knows - maybe Baku is afraid of the “influential Armenian lobby” worldwide?

Recognized, but they helped Azeris during Karabakh war, both with weapons and with mercenaries. With that Organisation of Islamic states has become a highly anti-armenian organisation...(even Iran has voted in resolutions condemning armenia)

No one takes the oic seriously. This isn't to say that we should try to get some kind of lobbying effort going there, whether it is thru a friendly muslim country, or maybe get 'observer status'. The mujahideen from afghanistan were not all taliban. And the taliban came to power in 1996, NKR war ended 1994. I think they are all scum so I am not trying to defend them, just trying to clarify that not all mujahideen became taliban members.
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.

Azerbaijan intends to launch information war against Iranian-Armenian relations
                    February 7, 2011 - 13:19 AMT 09:19 GMT
PanARMENIAN.Net - Political analyst Fikret Sadykhov said that an offensive information policy should have been launched against Iran long ago.

According to him, coverage of close relations between Iran and Armenia should be a priority of the information policy.

“The matter is that these relations are of an evident anti-Azerbaijani nature, as from the economic point of view, Iran does not benefit from expanding its assistance to and investments in Armenia, which is labeled in Tehran as a “brotherly country.” A similar policy of Iran contradicts its Islamic structure, ethics, membership in OIC and principles of good neighborly relations with Azerbaijan. Against the background of fraternization with Armenia, the statements of Iranian authorities concerning support to Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity are nothing else, but mere words,” said Sadykhov.

He offered establishing a TV channel, radio station, which would broadcast on the Iranian territory.

“The erroneousness of the Iranian policy in the matter should be presented through media, internet, social networks, organization of protests, including in South Azerbaijan. Meanwhile, a special attention should be paid to the Iranian youth, which is rather active and basically is negative disposed towards the current authorities, specifically, after the last presidential elections,” 1news.az quoted Sadykhov as saying.

so them being good with Israel is ok, even though Israel and Iran are enemies but its not ok for Iran to be friends with Armenia? talk about being hypocrites. Also i though azerbaijan doesnt get involved with the internal and domestic affairs of other countries?
