What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

3] Keep the focus.

This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

Armenian secret services were training terrorists – expert
        Tue 26 April 2011 05:04 GMT | -2:04 Local Time
        Text size:

        Gunduz Shabanov
'It's no secret that the Armenian state directly supported and sponsored the ASALA,' said senior research fellow Gunduz Shabanov.
As it was previously reported, Armenian ASALA terrorists have once again threatened to kill Turkish diplomats if Ankara continues to support Azerbaijan in resolution of the Karabakh conflict.

The reports were disseminated by the Turkish media with reference to the Foreign Ministry and National Intelligence Service of the country who have launched investigation into ASALA threats towards the Turkish embassies abroad.

Senior research fellow at the Center for Strategic Studies of Azerbaijan Gunduz Shabanov shared his thoughts about the possible response by Turkey and Azerbaijan to these threats.

"On one hand, one should not take seriously these threats by the ASALA and Armenian terrorists, who fearing publicity and direct involvement of the Armenian leadership in terrorist activities stopped doing it in recent years. It's no secret that the Armenian state directly supported and sponsored the ASALA and Armenian terrorists during the Karabakh war and subsequent terrorist attacks committed in Azerbaijan and in Baku,” the CSS expert said.

"In particular, in 1993-1994 Armenian secret service had secret training camps for terrorists in Dagestan, Magerramkend andDerbent area. Someone with a name Jan Osipian(has anyone actually heard of this guy? i couldnt find any info on him) oversaw training of terrorists from members of the Sadval party who were secretlybrought from Azerbaijan to Dagestan. Osipian was later arrested and tried in Russia. He was detained after his henchmen committed a terrorist act in the Baku subway and National Security Ministry of Azerbaijan began to investigate it,” Shabanov added.

“Later training camp for terrorists was created in Lukoser village in Nairit region of Armenia and 17 Azerbaijani citizens from national minorities recruited by Armenians were secretly brought there. With the support of authorities and special services of Armenia, they then trained in guerrilla warfare, explosives and committing terrorist acts. Three of the Azerbaijani citizens were sent back to Azerbaijan after training to commit terrorist acts. It is not accidental that the terrorist acts in the Baku subway in 1993 and 1994 were committed by individuals trained in Armenia,” he noted.

"After numerous terrorist acts committed by Armenian secret services received wide publicity in the world, Armenia was frightened and decided to temporarily stop terrorist acts in territory of Azerbaijan. However, undoubtedly, one can predict resumption of the Armenian attacks on Azerbaijan, especially in case of renewed hostilities on the Karabakh front.

“Given increasing threats by the Armenian terrorists lately, we should raise the issue of Armenian terrorism at international level, publish a chronology of terrorist acts committed by the ASALA and other organizations in different countries, including Europe. This will be preventive measure showing the world community the true face of the Armenian state, which is the main sponsor and initiator of terrorism," Shabanov underscored.

The line between a satire of Azerbaijani state policies and actual Azerbaijani state policies is so thin it is easy to mix them up. There are some websites reproducing this story as if it were true!
It is hilarious how indistinguishable the satire and reality in the case of azerbajan, isn’t it?

Baku airport should be renamed mental hospital – Armenian sociologist

                April 28, 2011 | 15:18
YEREVAN. – Azerbaijan realized that turning to the international community for recognition of its territorial integrity is in vain, says Armenian sociologist Aharon Adibekyan

He deems that there is no solution to the Karabakh conflict as Armenia and Azerbaijan have different notions of conflict’s resolution. If Azerbaijan stands for autonomy of Nagorno-Karabakh, let it resume this autonomy, the expert added.

“If Baku states something but does not do it, it means they are shuffling and their statements are lies,” he emphasized.

There should be posters in Baku airport indicating it is a “Mental hospital” with “Mania of persecution” diagnosis. He explained his words saying Azerbaijan considers Armenian historical lands are theirs and besides is accusing Armenia of stealing Azerbaijani culture.

Armenia and Azerbaijan have different notions of conflict’s resolution…

Of course, I don't believe this ambassador has any authority representing the entire position of the gov't of Israel and like most ambassadors is doing lip service but the fact that he has the audacity to say this is worriesome. If the reverse was true, Azerbaijan would be demanding an explanation from the gov't of Israel. Let's see what Armenia will do (if anything at all)

Azerbaijan seeks to return Armenian-stolen ancient treasures worth over $20m

The story with Azerbaijani treasures in the territory of Lachin is yet another proof of Armenian avidity, academician Teymur Bunyadov said.
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism has commented on the situation over finding treasures in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan by Armenians and the dispute between Yerevan and separatist regime of Nagorno Karabakh that followed the disclosure.

Over the finding, the ministry has submitted to the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of Azerbaijan a request to identify the value of the finds.

“Once our scientists provide definite information, we will apply to the relevant international structures with a demand to return historical findings to their real owner – Azerbaijan. Armenians should realize that they won’t go forward with theft and misappropriation. It is a crime which cannot remain unpunished”, sources in the ministry said while commenting on reports in Armenian media outlets about the dispute between Yerevan and Karabakh separatists over the treasures of gold, silver and bronze that were earlier found in occupied Lachin region of Azerbaijan.

The story with Azerbaijani treasures in the territory of Lachin is yet another proof of Armenian avidity, academician Teymur Bunyadov said.

The academician said Armenians are like robbers and pirates that tear at each other’s throats for a loot.

“World community must condemn the actions of these thugs. The treasures were found in Azerbaijan and they must be returned to their real owners. But instead we see a squabble between Armenians for our cultural heritage. The real aim of Armenians is to loot and terminate our occupied lands, things that they are doing before the eyes of the world community. I call it a real robbery and a crime that must be condemned by the world community”, the academician said.

Treasures dated to the 4th century BC were found in Armenian-occupied Lachin by Andranik Kurekhyan.

The unique find consists of 112 objects made of gold, silver and bronze and is dating to the Hellenistic period. It was a tomb with the remainders of two women and xxxels: some 700 grams of silver wares, 4kg to 5 kg of bronze and gold.

To learn the value of the find, Andranik took their photos and sent them to his friend in Armenian capital asking him to show the photos to specialists. His friend applied to law enforcement bodies who asked Andranik to come to Yerevan.

A real scandal erupted between Yerevan which holds the treasures and representatives of the separatist regime of Nagorno Karabakh who seek to get these treasures.

The finding is worth $21.5m by Armenian estimates.
