Blogger: Armenians need to change format of struggle against Turkey
April 24, 2011 - 21:23 AMT
PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian blogger Tigran Kocharyan said Armenians need to change the format of struggle against Turkey and more actively involve the Armenian lobby in supporting Artsakh.
"We need to change the format. In addition to commemoration the Armenian Genocide, we need to think about future and our further actions," Kocharyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
According to him, Armenia and Armenians have unresolved problems: "There is Turkey, which has not recognized the Genocide, what threatens the national security. The country, which has not recognized its crime, is able to repeat it. There is the Karabakh conflict."
Kocharyan believes that the Armenian lobby of the U.S. should seriously deal with problems of Nagorno Karabakh, in addition to its struggle for using the term "Genocide" by President Barack Obama on April 24.
He noted that if we work hard and display patience, "we will soon see the Armenian flag wavering over Kars, Erzrum and Van."
The blogger added that it is necessary to work more actively in social networks with taking into consideration geopolitical interests, specifically, with Serbians, Greeks and those nations, which are against Turkey's membership in the EU.
