Once it became known that Azerbaijan has become a nonpermanent member of UN Security Council, we called Sagatelu BAKVESHINYANU, and asked to comment on this event. Awakened to our call, Sagatel Mamikonovich was somewhat irritable, that seems to be reflected in the early morning interview.

        - Sorry for the late call.

        - Nothing. What's wrong?

        - Azerbaijan has become a nonpermanent member of UN Security Council.

        - Is this all? That is, they woke me up just to say that Azerbaijan has become a nonpermanent member. Yes, you are in your Voskanapat any idea what a normal person needs rest? No, you do not understand. You are there as clockwork, and I must answer your phone calls at night and know that Azerbaijan has become a nonpermanent member, as if he had ever been a permanent member. It seems that Napoleon has said: "Wake me only if bad news to come, and if a good - not in any way."

        - Is it the news that Azerbaijan has become a nonpermanent member of UN Security Council is not bad news?

        - The uncomfortable answer such questions to the ladies. This is not just good news is - good news. Do you think that Azerbaijan has spent approximately $ 230 million, bought the whole island with pluck the state to become a nonpermanent member? You are deeply mistaken. Azerbaijan has spent a lot of money and effort to become flaccid member UN Security Council. Because there are only five permanent members are willing to do exploits. Other - non-members, and to limp appendages pants.

        - But it is a UN Security Council. How this might affect the negotiations to settle the Karabakh conflict?

        - Only positive. In the sense that Azerbaijan will now be under constant control of five states I mentioned. You see, the UN Security Council decided to vote only after we know the mood of all its members: permanent and flabby. Can confidently predict, no proposal of Azerbaijan on the Security Council of the Republic of Artsakh will not be accepted. For all of two years of his stay there. That is, Azerbaijan was in a situation where he could not hide his erectile dysfunction.

        - Excuse me, that he can not hide?

        - Impotence, my dear, impotence. Political impotence.

        - Did what he could be elected, not to say the contrary?

        - Not at all. Azerbaijan was able to demonstrate their financial capability. As he wrote in his Twitter Slovenian president, they have no money, only good chocolate. In Azerbaijan there is money, he can afford to spend 230 million, to simulate the victory.

        - Why is fake?

        - There is a breed of wealthy, but old and infirm. They do not want to admit his long ensuing impotence, and they bought his teenage prostitutes. And doing it so that everybody knew: such a weekly invites to his venal women. In fact, all that are capable of these old people, this trembling hands, pat the young, which is close, but it is inaccessible to the body. This is the imitation of victory. How many prosecutors from winning, unless it carries with it a trophy?

        - And why Azerbaijan now can not hide your impotence? What has changed after he became a non-permanent member of UN Security Council?

        - Let's go back to our old man. As long as he invited the ladies to his home, he succeeded in fooling around. But if he will go to a brothel, the rumor of his senile impotence immediately spreads everywhere. It will look pathetic and ridiculous. And I am pleased to know that Armenia has managed to outwit Azerbaijan. In withdrawing his candidacy, Armenia, Azerbaijan did not interfere crawl back to where his political impotence will be put on public display.

Two years in Azerbaijan in the home patient. That is, the UN Security Council, due to expire, after which Aliyev will have something to say to their people. Unless, of course, by then it will remain at the head of Azerbaijan. And there will be nothing to say. For Azerbaijan in the UN Security Council will only play the role of a meaningless appendage.

        - To be honest, I also believe that the victory of Azerbaijan.

        - This is a victory not of Azerbaijan, this is - the victory of money over common sense. Slovenia could only boast of a healthy society and a wonderful chocolate. Azerbaijan opposition to this money. And had his way, as gold in the eyes of a certain category of death is not alone. But this is really only apparent success. Aliyev, who must declare that his victory should not be surprised if it will require from its fruits.

        - Have you read the speech Aliyev at today's meeting the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.

        - For three hours, as this meeting was yesterday. So richly praised Aliev of Azerbaijan, that made me want to buy it. I think the ability to talk up long unsold product sitting in his genes.

        - Ilham Aliyev spoke there a military parade in Yerevan on September 21. Quote: "The military equipment is not able to move itself, they demonstrated at the parade, leading to the trailers and trucks. It may be several reasons. Alternatively, this technique does not work, is in poor condition or there is no fuel, or both these causes together. "

        - Aliyev often silly sayings spoils the impression from his expensive suit. If he believes in what he says, then it is an incurable clinic, if consciously lying, it means that is considered incurable audience. In both cases, Azerbaijan is at least convincing lies own president to stop crying about the purchased and produced in Armenia weapons. And also to lament about the ongoing Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh military exercises on the border with Azerbaijan. Hopefully, under construction in Azerbaijan wall prevents them from seeing that the armor is strong and our tanks are fast.

Actually, funny picture, of course. There is one person sitting and lying recklessly. But he knows that sitting is known that standing in front of them is lying. The most interesting thing in this whole comedy sitting is also well known that standing in front of them knows that they know that he is lying. I'm not confused? Imagine how they confuse each other and themselves. Professional confused.

        - So you think that Aliyev is trying to deliberately downplay the possibility of the Armenian army?

        - Do not try it, because he knows that the animal fear of the Turks in front of the Transcaucasian Armenian army does not erase. It seems that the only thing they are right. Aliyev is lying, knowing that the audience knows that he's lying. You see, they have a political ritual is. In this ritual the main role is not one who is better sovret, and to those who pretend to be better than to believe in this lie. It's aerobatics artistry: pretend to understand that we all know that he pretends to be a naive fool. I truly admire and applaud this gathering in litsedeev byustgalstukah.

I wonder, well, that Aliyev publicly display their performances. Azerbaijani population in need of bread and circuses. And if there is not all bread enough, the spectacle rife. You know, these games are bad actors in the audience and artistic interest Transcaucasian ordinary Turk. Long-term series, with repeated shots of political striptease head of state and the court household will never get bored. Thanks to this never-ending series in Azerbaijan, many believe that they have a president, not the president has them.

        - Why try to diminish the power of Aliev Armenian army, if accurate judge in this matter can only be a war?

        - I'm telling you, this is - a political ritual Caucasian Turks. Aliyev is well aware that the war of Artsakh lead to loss of stored his baton. But to say this is not possible, since in this case, he again drop the baton. It remains to lie, which he does in good faith.

        - What do you mean by the phrase "baton"?

        - The desire to transfer power in Azerbaijan from Heydar's son's father Heydar. Aliyev now cling to the presidency, knowing that otherwise it will not get his son. And all his actions and behavior, including constantly voiced outright lies, aimed at solving this family problem: pass the baton of power to the Heydar younger. Buying a two-year membership in the UN Security Council was based on the same goal. But it is - a mistake, because after two years he will have to invent new lies to justify the political impotence of Azerbaijan.

        - Thank you. Sorry for the off-hour call.

At the end of October - early November, is scheduled to visit Israel in the high-ranking official of the RA authorized to discuss the political and strategic reasons. Judging by the number of indirect evidence, in particular its objective is to test the prospects for relations in the military sphere, at least in the limited format.

Preparation of the visit by the Division "Eurasia-2" for Central European and Eurasian Israeli Foreign Minister, responsible for relations with South Caucasus and Central Asia. However, please contact the press service of the Foreign Ministry to clarify the purpose of their visit of the Armenian official, we received the following response: "So far, the ministry is not interested in having to respond on this visit." In turn, the non-resident Ambassador to Armenia Shmuel Kiryat generally refused to apply on the issue.

As reported by the portal IzRus, in recent years amid growing confrontation between Turkey and Israel's political class and the Armenian community of experts were divided on the issue of development of relations with the xxxish state. Some people believe that you should use the conflict between Ankara and Jerusalem, to advance their own interests, in particular to consolidate its position in the Middle East. Opponents of this view, in turn, noted that Israel is in the Armenian issue is guided purely opportunistic reasons and has no genuine intention to establish close ties with Armenia.

And while both countries were now "on one side of the fence" in regard to their uneasy relations with Turkey, a more significant geopolitical factors hindering the development of bilateral cooperation. Thus, the strategic partner of Israel in the South Caucasus, and the largest importer of Israeli military products in the CIS is Azerbaijan. D. Jamalyan: Aliyev’s clan deeply concerned with Armenia’s military potential

“Azerbaijan’s propaganda held in the last few months can be described as discrediting anything which gives advantages to Armenia and which cannot be adequately responded in Baku. Aliyev’s administration exercises this tactics in the context of Armenian-Russian alliance. Describing Armenia as “Russia’s outpost” has become a pivotal attribute for the experts in Baku. Probably this tactics is greatly signified in Azerbaijan, as Ilahm Aliyev has also used this propaganda cliché,” said military expert Davit Jamalyan to Panorama.am referring to Azerbaijan’s statements on military parade held in Armenia.

Azerbaijan’s president has made remarks Monday on the military parade held in Armenia. Referring to the participation of Russian military group in the parade, Aliyev has said that Armenia has confirmed its role of outpost for Russia. Azerbaijan’s president has also condemned the military equipment displayed in the parade.

“This campaign is addressed to their domestic audience, and to “confirm” that compared with Armenia, Azerbaijan is an independent state, and to create an impression that Armenian-Russian military alliance cannot become an obstacle for “the restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity”.

Azerbaijan understands the advantages that Armenian-Russian alliance has – installation of alliance’s armed forces along the border line, improvement of Armenia’s military industry, delivery of modern armaments at affordable prices.

To conclude, if Baku looks for arguments to discredit our military parade, then it becomes obvious that Aliyev’s clan is deeply concerned with the military potential of our country, said the expert.

RFE/RL -- Armenia’s political leadership downplayed on Tuesday the significance of Azerbaijan’s membership in the UN Security Council, saying that it will have no impact on the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Azerbaijan secured a first-ever seat on the council late on Monday after getting 155 votes in the 193-nation UN General Assembly. It will join Pakistan, Morocco, Guatemala and Togo as temporary members of the 15-nation council in January for a two-year term.
Slovenia and Azerbaijan along with Hungary were vying for a seat reserved for Eastern Europe. Azerbaijan’s victory was confirmed after Slovenia, dropped out of the race. Slovene Foreign Minister Samuel Zbogar said his country “did not approve” of how the elections were held, although he failed to elaborate. In a special statement issued on the occasion, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev hailed the development as a “great victory” for his nation.

“The number of our friends around the world is growing,” he said.Aliyev did not specify whether his government will use the Security Council seat to advance a Karabakh settlement desired by the Azerbaijani side.

In 2008, Baku pushed through the UN General Assembly a non-binding resolution that referred to Karabakh as an internationally recognized part of Azerbaijan and demanded an “immediate, complete and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian forces” from occupied Azerbaijani lands. The resolution was backed by 39 mostly Muslim states.Armenia’s government, which is strongly opposed to any UN involvement in the Karabakh conflict mediation, did not officially react to Azerbaijan’s election to the Security Council as of Tuesday evening. But senior representatives of President Serzh Sarkisian’s Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) did comment on the issue.

In a speech in the Armenian parliament, Eduard Sharmazanov, the chief HHK spokesman and a senior parliamentarian, said Baku won the council seat thanks to support from “Muslim and third-world countries.”

“This fact cannot have any serious influence on the resolution of the Artsakh (Karabakh) conflict because the countries co-chairing the OSCE Minsk Group are permanent members of the Security Council and their views are in tune with Armenia’s position [on Karabakh,]” Sharmazanov said, referring to the United States, Russia and France.

The three mediating powers voted against the 2008 resolution on Karabakh at the General Assembly. They also convinced Baku to withdraw a similar draft resolution from the assembly agenda in September 2010.Hovannes Sahakian, another HHK lawmaker, likewise told RFE/RL’s Armenian service (Azatutyun.am) that Baku cannot influence the Karabakh peace process through the council. He said that the Minsk Group will remain the main international body trying to end the conflict.

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian appeared resigned to the Azerbaijani membership of the UN’s key decision-making body when he spoke at a news conference in Yerevan last month. He said it would run counter to the Security Council’s mission to promote international peace, pointing to Baku’s regular threats to end the Karabakh conflict by force.

“This will not add anything to the reputation of the Security Council,” Nalbandian said. “Quite the opposite.”
Does anybody have list of countries that supported Azerbaijan in their membership?

YEREVAN (Tert.am)—Is Yerevan sending a high-ranking official to Tel Aviv to discuss potential strategic cooperation with Israel? The Israeli-Russian news Web site Izrus.co reported citing unnamed sources.
“Despite the close relations between Tel Aviv and Baku on the one hand, and Yerevan and Tehran on the other, a ‘secret’ Armenian envoy will arrive in Israel to discuss possibilities of strategic cooperation. And Ankara’s regional policy creates favorable conditions for that,” the Izrus article said.
“The senior Armenian official’s visit to Israel was scheduled for late October or early November. He is authorized to discuss political and strategic issues with the Israeli side. His main objective is to explore opportunities for military cooperation,” the article continued.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry declined to comment on Izrus’ queries about the reported visit.
The only way I see Armenia having any meaningful cooperation with Israel is if it becomes enemies with Azerbaijan.

Professor of Armenian Studies at Harvard University James Russel will read a lecture entitled “Armenian-xxxish secret or 1000-year-old Armenian text in synagogue and history of Cairo which is told by him”, the Armenian Weekly informs.

In the end of the 19th century a traveling scientist accidentally happened to be in a Cairo synagogue storeroom which was full of middle age manuscripts. The manuscripts could not be just thrown out because they were written with the holy xxxish script. The documents of the Cairo Henize (which literally means treasury) include an initial description of the life and writing culture of the Near East in the beginning of the second millennium.

A short list including Armenian words translated to Judeo-Arabic was found in the Henize. The Armenian words were written in the xxxish script so we know how they are pronounced and the curious choice of vocabulary lets us guess why the list was created. The records in the Henize and the Armenian sources enable us to recreate this context and penetrate into a lost world, he said.
