Yeah it will maybe ruin their relation but it will also maybe ruin the Armenian-Russian relation , no ? Knowing that Ukrainians don't like Russians ?

Why would this affect our relation with Russia? Russia and Ukraine are not enemies, especially not after the regime change in Kiev.

There is a game called Stronghold: Crusader available for PC as well. A few of the campaign levels are played in Armenian Cilicia (referred to simply as the Kingdom of Armenia), although I don't think you can play as Armenia.

There's also that one game called Yerevan Drive for PC.

Ukraine sold to Azerbaijan not only Smerch but also MIG-29 and SU-25's in the past few years. And correct me if i am wrong we also bought two l-39's from them just a year ago. Maybe thats why that i can't understand why they feel necessity to reject news about selling weapons to us. and on the other hand i also can't understand why we or Ukraine should feel fear with making such deals. I think this situation shows us that we are playing cards in the wrong way.. we never made statment when Azeris made arm deal with Israel, we never warned Ukraine when they sold aircrafts, helicopters to Azeris. And look at the result. We are trying to make secret deal with the same country which is main arm seller to our enemy? I think sometimes we are forgetting that we are a country which is preparing for a new war. We should revise our policy .

It appears the modus operandi, methodology working style and of the Armenian government, specially the Defense Ministry, is to publicly keep silent or make extremely minimal statements regarding Armenia's own weapons and capabilities as well as moves and acquisitions by the war-mongering azerbaijanis. In sharp contrast to the primitive and classless nouveau riche aliyev regime, Armenia neither gloats and brags about its hardware acquisitions nor does it throw a public tantrum like every time sultan aliyev drags his knuckles onto azerbaijani state tv and talks about how azerbaijan is acquiring new hardware at a rate almost as high as the rate his barbaric soldiers kill are killing themselves or each other.

Essentially, the Armenian government is almost certainly very active diplomatically in regards to azerbaijani purchases from Russia, Ukraine and even israel, it just goes about without cameras being present. Excess media attention would probably invite stronger azerbaijani counteractions, while a stealthy move by Armenian diplomacy would be much more effective and harder to counteract.

As a good example, according to WikiLeaks and Stratfor, Russia and israel made a clandestine bargain whereby Russia would agree not to sell Iran S-300 Air Defense Systems and israel would supply Russia with the codes to israeli-made drones that saakashvili's georgia purchased. And these were two nations with strongly divergent interests, sacrificing important allies (or pawns) in a backdoor agreement. There's no reason to think Armenia does not take similar measures regarding its own national security interests.

As for countries selling weapons to azerbaijan, it's just a fact of life that arms sales are always major money makers. If we blacklisted every country that sold weapons to the azerbaijanis for some petrodollars, we would be isolated from most of the world. Nothing personal, just business. Apart from israel and genocidal turkey, Armenia and azerbaijan buy most of their weaponry from the same former Eastern Block nations. If we can cut lucrative deals with Ukraine or any other nation for something as powerful and advances as SMERCH systems, we need to make sure to take full advantage.

Ողջունելով բազեականներին, Ս. Օհանյանը նշեց, որ իր համար մեծ պատիվ է ամեն տարի մասնակցել արդեն ավանդական դարձած «Բազե» համահայկական երիտասարդական հավաքին` համարելով այն օրինաչափ, քանի որ պաշտպանության նախարարը ղեկավարում է Հայաստանի ամենամեծ երիտասարդական կազմակերպությունը՝ Հայոց բանակը։

ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարը պատասխանեց նաև բազեականների հարցերին, որոնք վերաբերում էին ռազմահայրենասիրական դաստիարակությանը, պաշտպանական քաղաքականությանը, ռազմական կրթությանը և Արցախյան հերասամարտին։ Անդրադառնալով Ղարաբաղյան հարցի կարգավորմանը՝ Սեյրան Օհանյանը շեշտեց, որ խնդիրը բացի խաղաղ կարգավորումից այլընտրանք չունի. ռազմական ճանապարհով Ղարաբաղյան հարցը մեկ անգամ արդեն լուծվել է, այժմ դիվանագիտական քայլեր են արվում այդ ամենն ամրագրելու համար։

What is going on with Russia and Armenia/Artsakh a lot of Turkish/Azeri blogs and web pages that are written in English are touting that Russia no longer is Pro Armenia/Artsakh, but has now changed it's position to be one of neutrality or even eventual return to Azerbaijan. Is this all the usual bs or is there some truth to it?

Nice dream , actually Russia was always neutral on Artsach theme, they are Pro Armenia .
