On Gordian Hanguyts section it shows all about azery istiglal. Makes me happy that our military knows and keeps attention for accuracy weapons.
One thing I don't agree is commentator's opinion that very few countries can build accurate snipers. In actuality the most accurate rifles are built by small shops the size of 20-30 very qualified personnel which we can very much afford. I guarantee that Armenia can, if seriosely motivated, and shall build top quality sniper weapons.
The other topic which I still would like to see progress is in training programs that our army adopts.

i watched an news video here on internet, A. Hovhanissyan was talking about azeri istiglal and he said ''when we saw this weapon closely we started to laugh at it'' is it means that somehow our millitary brought that weapon from azeri positions???

Even if you don't have one in your hands, the pictures say everything about istiglal. First, we know enough about 14.5MM cartridge. It is not very accurate. Second, Looking at the position of scope and the shape of scope mount(2 thin legs) I think that it would never hold the same from one shot to next, Not to say that the scope does not look powerfull enough ( how can you install a bigger scope on that crap when you would be lost even more in your zero adjusment). It is qualified as antimateriel rilfe. For the past 10-12 years americans redesignated even 12.5MM(50CAL) from antimateriel-atipersonnel to only antimateriel type because they saw that it was not accurate like newer smaller calibers.
Can anybody imagine an azery solder humping that 45 LB(23KG) stick up the hill? What is he going to shoot at? There wont be any armored cars on top of the rocks. LOL Can he hide? He will be shot (god willing) before even he positions himself.
Because of advancement of controlled antitank rockets, those big calibers are allmost absolete now.

Not necessarily...the Azeris displayed it during one of the international arms expositions a few months back...where Armenian official and undercover unofficial representatives would be present

Azerbaijan reserves blood for war

BAKU. - Azerbaijan collects blood reserve for the war.
It is not yet stated against what country Baku is going to fight, however, Armenia may suppose it.

“There is always blood reserve at the Central Blood Bank of the Institute of Hematology and Transfusiology named after Eyvazov under the Ministry of Healthcare,”
director of the Institute Sultan Aliyev told APA.

However, they reserve blood at the Central Blood Bank for the future war. He said that Azerbaijan was at war and strategic blood reserves are collected at the Central Blood Bank.
This blood may be only used in case of accidents in the future.
