Back to the point, Russia is buzzing and locking radar on Turkish planes in Syria, and it's joint Russo-Turkish natural gas pipeline is now on hold. Let's hope Turkey foolishly engages a Russian fighter and... wait for it... Turkey recalls their ambassador to Russia!

Madrid principle is bs it essentially means withdrawal from all adjacent regions even lachin that connects armenia to artsakh,then pull the military from Karabakh and make it like Chechnya with azeris living inside and grow and in few years when they outnumber Armenians they I'll start a massacre and another bigger war.statues que so far benefits us more


Harlem Désir emphasizes importance of Madrid Principles in Karabakh conflict settlement

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 9, ARMENPRESS. Armenia will continue directing its efforts together with the Minsk Co-chairs to exceptionally peaceful resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Republic of Armenia Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian noted the aforementioned during the briefing with France’s Secretary of State for European Affairs Harlem Désir at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

“We took the opportunity to have a meeting and discuss the privileged relations between the two countries, agenda issues. We spoke about the Nagorno Karabakh conflict during the meeting. I introduced the situation that Azerbaijan had created recently on its border with Armenia and Karabakh contact line connected with ceasefire regime violation and the provocations on the part of Azerbaijan due to which the situation has escalated, ” “Armenpress” reports, Nalbandian said.

Harlem Désir emphasized that France was ready to make all the necessary efforts in the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. According to Secretary of State for European Affairs, France, which co-chairs the OSCE Minsk Group with Russia and USA, endeavors to contribute to the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

“It’s necessary to find a solution which will comply with the Madrid Principles about which an announcement was made during the meeting of Armenia and Azerbaijan presidents last year in Paris. France for its part is ready to make all the necessary efforts to reach the peaceful settlement of the conflict through negotiations,” Désir stated, adding that it was important to consider the interests of the civil population as well as preserve stability.

lol Madrid Principles. What a complete joke. If they wanted a way to ensure that Armenians don't ever consider any idea of a compromise, they did it a long time ago with that garbage. Essentially gives Azerbaijan 90% of what they want, and we have to hope they let us have 10% if we are lucky and they stick to their word. What a joke to ask of a victor. Any Armenian president who agrees to even one percent of that garbage will be hanged on Baghramyan. Azerbaijan could talk a lot bigger, and we had to let a lot of sh-t go, ten years ago when we all thought these bastards were going to have oil forever. A few more years and Azerbaijan will look a lot closer to Dagestan than the Dubai they were hoping for.

Defense Ministry: Enemy suffered numerous casualties


Baku – APA. “On October 9, as a result of shots made by Azerbaijani Armed Forces on opposite side on the contact line, 6 servicemen of enemy were destroyed, numerous soldiers wounded”, Defense Ministry reported.

According to Ministry, one Azerbaijani serviceman was wounded: “Units of our Armed Forces control the operational conditions”.

YEREVAN. – Formation of the chemical troops of Armenia’s Armed Forces was completed on October 10, 1992.

And since 1996, October 10 is marked as Armenia Chemical Troops’ Day.

The main task of these troops is to protect the population and facilities from chemical threats.

But now, these troops have assumed another mission: Elimination of the effects of environmental disasters.

The present-day chemical troops of Armenia were formed on the basis of the respective former Soviet troops.

In March 1993, Armenia signed the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), which outlaws the production, stockpiling, and use of chemical weapons and their precursors.
