I don't see why this would push Georgia closer to the Turks....any closer we demand to get invited to the wedding.

So its a good idea to compromise Armenia's and NKR's security because Georgia said so?

I never mentioned anything about friendship, that was you....I would never support that especially with a country we cannot trust,, unless they come around and repent.
I really don't feel like responding to anything you have said. I thought we had an agreement not to talk to each other anyway.

What I will say is that there are too many people on this forum with the "f*ck everyone, we can be on our own" approach. I will agree that it was Georgia's responsibility to initiate mending of relations between them and Armenia. But as far as I can tell, it has made moves in the right direction (i.e. this border demilitarization idea, release of ethnic Armenian political prisoners, lots of diplomatic visits in the past couple of months). But Armenia has to show goodwill as well, even if we have to swallow our pride. Why? 1. They stand between Armenia and her biggest strategic and commercial partner and 2. Look at the possible result: if Georgia and Russia make up (which they will eventually), there will be Russia-Georgian-Armenia alliance with possible role of Iran. A more immediate result though would be allowing Russia to make transfers though its land and maybe lowering tariffs.
