Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!


2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures.     Armenian military serviceman killed in skirmish

    STEPANAKERT. – The diversionary teams of the adversary attempted to carry out a simultaneous infiltration at the line of contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces.

    The attempts were recorded at around between 11:50pm on Sunday and 12:15am on Monday, in the northeastern (Jraberd) and the southeastern (Korgan) directions of the line of contact.

    But by noticing the operations by the Azerbaijani military diversion teams, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army vanguard units undertook an organized defense in both directions. As a result, they caused substantial human and material losses to the adversary and drove it back to its initial positions.

    Bu as a result of the skirmish, Junior Sergeant Armen Hovhannisyan was killed at the military position located in the northeastern direction, and from the gunshot wound he received from the adversary.

    An investigation is underway to ascertain the details of the incident, the NKR MOD informs.

      Ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցները շարունակում են տեղեկացնել Սիրիայում սպանված ադրբեջանցի զինյալների մասին։ Այս անգամ տեղեկություններ են հայտնում ոմն 18-ամյա Նիջադի և «Սեյֆուլլահ լեզգիի» վերաբերյալ, որոնց իսկությունը ստուգելը դեռևս բարդ է։

      Ինչպես հաղորդում է ադրբեջանական ԱՊԱ լրատվական գործակալությունը, հղում կատարելով, սակայն չհիշատակելով «մոջահեդների» կայքերը, «Սեյֆուլլահ լեզգինը» մարտնչել է Բաշար Ասադի կողմնակիցների զորքերի դեմ «Ալ Նուսրայի ճակատ» իսլամիստական խմբավորման շարքերում, սպանվել է հունվարի 19-ին, Ադրբեջանի Գուսարի լեզգիաբնակ շրջանից է։ Դատելով մականունից և ծննդավայրից՝ ամենայն հավանականությամբ նա լեզգի է։ Նրա լուսանկարը բացակայում է։

      Ինչ վերաբերում է մյուս զինյալին, ապա ԱՊԱ-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ նա 18 տարեկան էր, անունը Նիջադ էր, 2013-ին ընդունվել է բուհ, առաջին կուրսի դասընթացները թողել է և ուղևորվել Սիրիա։ Սպանվել է «մի քանի օր առաջ»։

      Նկատենք, որ ԱՊԱ-ն չի նշում՝ որ խմբավորման անդամ էր Նիջադը։ Մեզ հաջողվեց պարզել, որ բացի ԱՊԱ-ից, սպանված զինյալի լուսանկարը զետեղված է Օդնոկլասսնիկի սոցցանցի՝ «Իրաքի և Լևանտի իսլամական պետություն» ծայրահեղական իսլամիստական խմբավորման ադրբեջանական քարոզչական էջում, ընդ որում՝ 2013-ի դեկտեմբերի 23-ին, ուստի կարող ենք եզրակացնել՝ զինյալը սպանվել է առնվազն դեկտեմբերի 23-ին։ Նյութի կամ լուսանկարի այլ աղբյուր այս պահի դրությամբ չի հաջողվել գտնել։

      Հետևելով ադրբեջանական մամուլին՝ 2014-ի հունվարի 1-ից մինչ օրս Ադրբեջանը Սիրիայում կորցրել է նվազագույնը 10 զինյալի։ Նրանք հիմնականում արմատական իսլամիստական խմբավորումների անդամներ են:

      Հունվարի 10-ին Սիրիայում նախագահ Բաշար Ասադի կողմնակիցների դեմ մարտերում զոհվել է ադրբեջանցի 14-ամյա զինյալ Նաջաֆ Քերիմովը։ Կառավարական զորքերի դեմ մարտերին մասնակցում է նաև Քերիմովի հայրը։

      Ադրբեջանական ԱՊԱ լրատվական գործակալությունը, հղում կատարելով Սիրիայի «մոջահեդների» կայքերին, սակայն դրանց անունները չհիշատակելով, գրում է, որ սպանվածի ընտանիքը ծագումով Նախիջևանի Շարուրի շրջանից է։

      Հայտնի է նաև, որ Նաջաֆ Քերիմովը իր տիկնոջ և չորս երեխաների՝ 16-ամյա Իրադայի, 14-ամյա Նաջաֆի, 10-ամյա Սառայի ու 5-ամյա Ֆաթիմայի հետ Սիրիա է մեկնել 2013-ի ամռանը՝ ենթադրաբար զինյալների այս կամ այն խմբավորման շարքերում մարտնչելու։

      Նկատենք, որ 14-ամյա պատանու սպանվելը քննարկման թեմա է դարձել Ադրբեջանում, քանի որ սա ադրբեջանական մամուլի առաջին հրապարակումն է Նախիջևանից Սիրիա մեկնած, այն էլ փոքր տարիքի զինյալի մասին: Մասնավորապես, ֆորումներում ադրբեջանցիների՝ հաճախ որպես ահաբեկիչներ Սիրիա մեկնելու պատճառ են նշվում իսլամիստների վճարած մեծ գումարը, ծայրահեղ իսլամիստական հավատից բխող «սրբազան պատերազմի» մասնակից լինելու ձգտումը և «Արցախը հետ գրավելու պատերազմի բացակայության պայմաններում մարտական փորձ ստանալու կամ Արցախում պատերազմելու պատրաստակամությունը ինչ-որ տեղ սպառելու ցանկությունը»։

      Այս խնդիրը քննարկում են նաև ադրբեջանցի փորձագետները, որոնք ևս որպես առիթ հիշատակում են վերոնշյալ հանգամանքները, սակայն հարցի լուծման տարբերակներ չեն առաջադրում։

      Հետևելով ադրբեջանական մամուլին՝ 2014-ի հունվարի 1-ից մինչ օրս Ադրբեջանը Սիրիայում կորցրել է նվազագույնն 9 զինյալի։ Նրանք հիմնականում արմատական իսլամիստական խմբավորումների անդամներ են:

            Russia completes delivery of Azerbaijan-ordered Mi-35M helicopters

            APA reports that Russia has delivered 24 Mi-35M helicopters to Azerbaijan ordered in September, 2010.
            Azerbaijan also purchased Mi-35M simulators to train pilot personnel...

                At moment they have: 26 Modernised Mig-29's, 16 upgraded SU-25's, 24 Mi-35M's, 15 Mi-24G's and 35 Mi-24R's.

                ...and what do we have? 15 old SU-25's and 16 older Mi-24's.

                  The flag of Azerbaijan can really—and even should—appear in Nagorno-Karabakh, but solely on the roof of the embassy of that country.

                  The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) President’s press secretary Davit Babiayan told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

                  Babayan commented on the statement by chairman Bayram Safarov of the “Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabakh” NGO, according to which, “The tricolor flag of Azerbaijan will wave in Nagorno-Karabakh.”

                  “The flag of Azerbaijan should wave on the roof of its embassy in Nagorno-Karabakh, and we consider this to be the shortest way to settle the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict.

                  “In our turn, we stand ready to allocate a place for the embassy in Shushi, [capital city] Stepanakert, or somewhere else where we see fit,” Babayan noted.

                  But he added that if Safarov means to say that the Azerbaijani flag can appear in the NKR as a result of war, he is sadly mistaken.

                  “In case of war, the Karabakh tricolor [flag] will appear in [Azerbaijani capital city] Baku, atop the President’s Office and on top of all important institutions [in Azerbaijan],” Davit Babayan concluded.

                    26 modernized mig29??? they have only 13 mig29 and they arent in good situation, they got 13 su25 but not modernized, we have 17 su25, 2 of them are in karabakh and also you can say that russian mig29s in armoland are also ours, cuz they will fight azeri hets, so additional 18 mig29, but those are also not in good situation

                      Seyran Ohanyan: Nine Armenian servicemen threw back two Azeri subversion groups

                      During his visit to John Kirakosyan school in Yerevan on Tuesday, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan gave some details about the subversion act carried out by Azerbaijan on the night of January 20, Mediamax news agency said.

                      The Minister said that the attack of the Azeri subversion groups was stopped by an Armenian squad of nine people.

                      “A squad of nine servicemen on duty threw back two special units of Azerbaijan, numbering around 30. Isn’t it heroism?" he said. Panorama.am

                      On the night of Jan. 20, Azeri units tried to infiltrate Armenian positions in northeastern (Jraberd) and southeastern (Korgan) sections of the contact line of Karabakh and Azeri troops. NKR Defense Army serviceman Armen Hovhannisyan was killed by Azeri fire while performing his military duty at the northeastern military position. An investigation is being carried out. Armen Hovhannisyan was posthumously awarded medal ‘For Courage.’
