Solemn ceremony of opening the monument of general Zinevich
On 23 October Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan partook in the capital Stepanakert at a solemn ceremony of opening the monument of a prominent commander, active participant of the Artsakh Liberation War, former head of the NKR Defense Army Staff, lieutenant-general Anatoly Zinevich.
President Sahakyan signified the contribution of Anatoly Zinevich in forging our victories, formation and development of the Defense Army. According to the Head of the State the installation of the commander's monument in the street named after him is among the best means of keeping the general's memory alive.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, National Assembly chairman Ashot Ghoulyan and other officials partook in the ceremony.

Both intelligence and special forces wear blue berets, the difference is in emblems on them, special forces after that tests can get black berets, which is the best u can be in our army, its like red berets for Russia, but also tank crew wear black berets, i think its special operations tank crew also,the best ones.

Experts from CIS member states are in Armenia

According to the 2014 work plan established by the CIS Council of Defence Ministers, on October 21, military experts from CIS member states visited the Republic of Armenia in the objective of participating to the inaugural co-ordination committee meetings from October 22 to 23, between the CIS member state heads of standardization and metrology services of the armed forces.
The co-ordination committee sessions will be attended by military experts from the Republics of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as experts from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the representatives of the CIS Council of Defence Ministers, who will also visit the National Metrology Institute of Yerevan.
