I recently heard this tragic story. There is this Persian Armenian who was fighting in the Iran-Iraq war. They captured an Iraqi and it turned out he was Armenian. The guy was going crazy because of the tortures and he wanted a gun so he could kill himself. They gave him a knife in his cell and the guy committed suicide. Another story is this Persian Armenian during combat shot an Iraqi and heard "Vay mamma" from the Iraqi, turns out he just killed another Armenian. This soldier ended up becoming so depressed that he killed another Armenian. He left the army after that. Till this day the guys is traumatized because of what happened. Its messed up that if any country goes to war with another country an Armenian will be fighting another Armenian.

^^^^ I mentioned this a while back when I became a member here.........I know all too well about this and it will keep happening due to our nature to volunteer and the fact that we live in every corner of the world.

this soldier is by brothers friends cousin. I heard this story the other day from my brother.

Its just horrible having to go through such a thing.

xxxx like that is why i did not join the US militery, well that and the fact that i think most of the wars they fight are for al the wrong reasons.
