Meeting in the administrative complex of the RA Ministry of Defence

Today, RA Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan received Robert Kosla, the Regional Director Public Safety/ National Security/ Defence at Microsoft CEE headquarters.
Minister Ohanyan greeted Mr. Kosla and noted that the current challenges around informational security are surmountable only through concerted efforts. The Minister of Defence stressed the importance of expanding their cooperation with Microsoft, in order to witness development in the sphere of cyber security and information security.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the services offered by Microsoft CEE HQ, which include mechanisms for providing information within the field of security, cyber security programs implemented in various countries through the support of Microsoft CEE HQ. They also touched upon the possibility of organizing trainings and qualification courses for the Armenian Armed Forces personnel in Microsoft’s training centres.

Soldier dies in Karabakh military position

David Koloyan, a soldier of the NKR Defense Army, 19, died as a result of an incident in a frontline position of a military unit located in the eastern direction of the Line of Contact on Sunday.
