Armenia is negotiating with Irkut corporation regarding aircraft acquisition 3/26/2015

Belarus will get four combat and training aircraft Yak-130 in April, BelTA learned from Oleg Demchenko, President of Irkut Corporation.

“We are going to deliver four Yak-130 aircraft to Belarus in April,” said Oleg Demchenko during the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) 2015 in Malaysia.

BelTA reported earlier that Minsk expects the first wing of the combat and training aircraft Yak-130 to be delivered by the end of March. The contract on buying these aircraft was signed in late 2012. Belarus is the first CIS country to buy Yak-130.

Oleg Demchenko also mentioned plans to supply four jet fighters Su-30SM to Astana. “So in April we will export eight aircraft: four for Kazakhstan and four for Belarus,” he specified.

Speaking about plans to sell aircraft to other CIS states, the Irkut Corporation head mentioned they were in negotiations with Armenia and Uzbekistan.

Yak-130 (NATO designation – Mitten) is designed to offer combat training to pilots and can be used to attack aerial and ground targets. The aircraft is meant to train pilots to fly combat aircraft of the four-plus generation and the fifth generation. The first Yak-130s took wing in 1996. In 2012 Yak-130 was chosen to be the main aircraft for training pilots for the Russian Air Force.

        Janes reported the same thing

Belarus got Yak-130 just recently. This is truly an amazing aircraft for its cost. Its capable of carrying tons of FABs, along with AA/AG missles and it has a twin 30mm cannon.

Its also featured in Arma 3 hehe

now this is what I wanted to hear. Armenians taking action.

"The enemy was silenced by retaliatory fire." means Armenians were done and just pulled back and then there was silence.
I am serious, we should have no problem taking over their defensive positions at the frountline. LAND, BULGE, SURROUND, exterminate.

No, land grabs will only lead to war. The other side would feel obligated to respond until you just have a series of land grabs that culminate in a border war. What Armenia needs to do is continue preemptive attacks on their trenches, specifically on their equipment like ZSU anti aircraft gun positions, heavy machine gun positions, and mortar positions. Discourage Aliyev's policy of "bleed your enemy until they are dry"

Argin, low caliber mortar rounds are far from expensive.

Stop playing armchair General......and land is everything. for example we need a larger buffer for Artsakh airport to operate. With the warning from Azeris that they will shoot down civilian aircraft totally justifiable.

They wouldn't dare shoot down a civilian airliner, as they know the consequences of doing so. They aren't a nuclear power, and cant get away with it like America and Russia. The international community, especially Russia, will respawn and there will be dangerous repercussions like sanctions. Something like that would officially turn Azerbaijan into a North Korean hellhole.
