Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!


2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

      Judicial investigation into the case of Arsen Bagdasaryan is over

      Ganja. Azer Mammadli – Ganja. The Ganja Court on Grave Crimes resumed Monday the hearing on the case of Bagdasaryan Arsen Edwardovich, an Armenian scout who had been captured by Azerbaijani soldiers while attempting to cross the Aghdam part of the contact line of troops on December 26, 2014.

      During the hearing presided over by judge Elbey Allahverdiyev, the judicial investigation was declared concluded.

      The public prosecutor was given the floor. The prosecutor asked for time.

      Later on, some documents that had been added to the criminal case were reviewed.

      The court said the convict has undergone forensic-medical and psychological examination. And the result is that Bagdasaryan was psychologically and bodily healthy when he crossed into Azerbaijan.

      He was not mistreated as he was captured and during his stay in Azerbaijan.

      A material received from the Interior Ministry says he has not previously been imprisoned.

      It is also said the landmines which Bagdasaryan brought along had been produced in Armenia’s Vanadzor city.

      The next hearing was scheduled for May 4. On that day, the public prosecutor will ask for a penalty against the convict.

      Note that, Professional serviceman Bagdasaryan Arsen Edwardovich, who is a member of an Armenian reconnaissance-sabotage group, was captured by Azerbaijani soldiers while attempting to cross the Aghdam part of the contact line of troops on 26 December 2014 and handed over to law enforcement agencies, according to the Republican Military Prosecutor’s Office.

      The Military Prosecutor’s Office launched a criminal case under the Criminal Code’s articles 29,120.2.7, 29,120.2.12 and 29,282.2.

      The Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan told APA that the investigation into the fact discovered that senior sergeant A.E. Bagdasaryan who underwent special training in Armenia has served under contract as the first platoon commander of the reconnaissance detachment at military unit 49971 under an armed criminal formation located in the Azerbaijani district of Aghdere occupied by Armenian armed forces.

      He was instructed by the commander of the military unit (he has been identified) to kill Azerbaijani citizens with the intention of national hostility and hatred, and to cross to the defense positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces to place mines in order to cause explosions in the trenches with the purpose of damaging Azerbaijan’s defense capabilities. On this purpose, Bagdasaryan alongside other members of the criminal group (their names has been identified) crossed the contact line of troops in a secrete way at around 3:00 PM 26 Dec. 2014. They are convicted of placing 3 of the 7 Fugas antipersonnel mines he had in the trench paths frequently used by Azerbaijani soldiers. Thanks to the Azerbaijani soldiers' vigilance, Bagdasaryan was captured on his way back, and mines neutralized.

      Necessary investigative measures were then taken, the knife and other items seized from Bagdasaryan as well as one of the mine placed in the ground and the place were two of the mines were neutralized by exploding inspected, forensic medical, complex forensic psychiatric and psychological, etc. examination conducted, witnesses questioned.

      Bagdasaryan is charged under the Criminal Code’s articles 218.2 (participation in criminal community), 29,120.2.1 (attempt to a deliberate murder by group of persons, on preliminary arrangement by group of persons, by organized group or criminal community), 29,120.2.7 (attempt to a deliberate murder of two or more persons), 29,120.2.12 (attempt to a deliberate murder on motive of national, racial, religious hatred or enmity), 29,282.2 (attempt to commitment of explosion, arson or other actions directed on destruction or damage of enterprises, constructions, means of communication, means of message and communication, objects of life-support of a population with a view of undermining defensibility and economic safety of the Azerbaijan Republic) and was sentenced to pretrial detention.

          Kamo Hovsepyan is a lucky man.

          A few days ago the 23 year-old Armenian soldier from the Lori village
          of Dsegh repelled an Azerbaijani incursion attempt and sustained a
          hand grenade wound to the arm.

          "I can't describe what I felt at the time. I thought I was about to
          die. Grenades were constantly raining down," says Karo who, along
          with fellow soldiers, repelled the dawn incursion.

          Karo and Mira were hunkered down in a frontline position in Artsakh
          when the attack occurred. A hand grenade knocked Mira unconscious
          and Karo was left to fend for himself.

          Almost out of ammunition, he kept firing at the advancing Azerbaijani
          unit until reinforcements arrived.

          Karo estimates that there were at least seven in the Azerbaijani unit.

          According to the Artsakh Ministry of Defense, one Azerbaijani soldier
          was killed in the firefight and many others wounded.

          The following morning, while being treated at a military hospital,
          Karo was visited by his parents and bride to be.

                Nice nothing like the cops getting the best equipment out there while soldiers get still get cheap soviet gear. The government's priorities are obvious. Dam shame.

                  They dont have cheap soviet gear anymore, the obviously have proper body armor along with NATO helmets.

                  These kinds of modular helmets are really only used for special operations by special soldiers.

                  They have the same protection as an ACH but just allow for night vision, tactical lights, etc

                  Its really just opscore special cool guy bullxxxx

                    Couldn't agree more. Our SWAT teams have better equipment than the troops on the front lines
