Armenia may get extra forces from CSTO in case of Karabakh conflict escalation: Bordyuzha
From the point of view of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, the format of the OSCE Minsk Group is the most optimal. The General Secretary of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Nikolay Bordyuzha stated about it during the talk with the journalists on June 18.
STEPANAKERT, JUNE 18, ARTSAKHPRESS: “The position of the Collective Security Treaty Organization remains the same. The OSCE Minsk Group thoroughly studies this issue and no other structure should interfere in the process. We constantly get information from Armenia about the killed and the shots in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone. Moreover, I would like to mention that Armenia, as a full-pledged member of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, has the right to get extra forces from CSTO in case of Karabakh conflict escalation”, - stated Nikolay Bordyuzha.

The Minister of Defense of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan, is on a working visit to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR; Artsakh), and within the framework of the military cooperation plan of the two Armenian republics.
Ohanyan, accompanied by his newly appointed NKR colleague—Lieutenant General Levon Mnatsakanyan—and Lieutenant General Movses Hakobyan—the newly appointed Deputy Chief of Armenia’s General Staff of the Armed Forces—, on Wednesday paid visits to several military outposts located in an easterly direction of the frontline of the NKR Defense Army.
Armenia’s defense minister got familiarized with the course of military watch at these outposts, and interacted with the Artsakh servicemen on duty.
In addition, the defense ministers of the two Armenian republics gave several instructions and recommendations to the command units, and toward further improving the military watch.
