Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

If you go through the 1700 pages of this thread you'll find out the formula of calculating Azeri casualties.

So every 5 10 years they do this and then call for ceasefire and our side takes it. They can afford the losses we cant. It is a weakness on Armenians side for obeying this ceasefire.
Ayrudzi, I know you are concerned of our casualties, but this is not a video game like counter strike or else. You are someone sitting behind the computer and waiting for a quick response meanwhile our commanders are planning the counter attack. Just wait for it and you will hear. Counter attacking needs time and planning.it's not like Ok let's attack! No we take into consideration every soldiers life. Btw if you were the commander possibly we would have had more casualties than 95 cz probably you would have ordered for a quick counter attack without taking specific measures/calculations.

ape, as a general rule of law, you lose several times more than your enemy when attacking. Usually the rule of thumb is three. But that number goes up when its uphill/mountainous. That number goes up further when your president and generals are bunch of draft dodgers/deserters who use their soldiers like sand bags and can cover up any death they wish.

so even if we didn't have the much more professional army, it would be a surprise if they didn't have much more casualties crossing one of the most militarized no man lands in the world.

        As far as razm.info
The enemy deaths: that information was acquired in spite of the best effort of Azerbaijan. They refuse to release a list. So it's what slipped out. What they couldn't cover up. The bodies that were left behind when retreating, people who have a social network account that could be found, etc.

As far as our deaths: Our army simply released a list that they kept updating until all the missing became dead. Nobody dug that up. Because you don't have to. Because we have a free country. I know that number is correct because I've checked with several news releases of soldier funerals and all of their names have been on that list. You can't really hide that information in Armenia.

In Azerbaijan however, there is literally no free media left.

Radio Liberty was shut down December of 2014, and they have basically shut down cesd.az at start of this year.

Let me ask you a question.

The attacking side confirms only that they had 39 casualty and 22 wounded.
1st of all there haven't been any scenario in a blitz/war were the number of wounded are less than the casualties moreover the defending side confirms 95 casualties and 122 wounded. So here is the question. Do you find that azeris attacking on a well defended hilltop with (let's assume) 500 soldiers (not less nor more since firstly if your the attacking side you should have the triple amount of the defending side 2nd they weren't able to hold the positions which means they've had many casualties while some retreated) can have only 39 casualties and 22 wounded?

So this is a scenario of 1 hilltop. Consider the fact that they attacked from several positions multiply and you will get the answer of your question. No need for sources. Simple math and logic

by only the amount of tanks and helicopters plus the left out "special" forces makes them more than 120 ...our side just cant hide the truth , even if some analyst wish , we are small country and every mother will make it big fuss in the media that it happens to be the most free in the region and decent numbered globally .

Azerbaijan only admits to 36 deaths and loss of 1 tank and 1 helicopter so it seems they are only declaring losses that they can't deny because the remains ended up in our hands. Razm.info and Meydan.tv have discovered close to 100 killed with photos, names, birth place etc. This is based on open source information, meaning Facebook posts left on public or public funerals.

Looking through the list of their 100 killed, you will see that it is very officer heavy. 1 out of every 4 Azeri death is an officer and it is much harder to conceal officer deaths than lower level soldiers because officers get military recognition and more likely to get officials attend their funerals. This means that there is likely dozens of more Azeri deaths that have gone under the radar. Their deaths probably range in the 200 level.

Not only number of dead azer is being hidden but the number of wounded.
They are not like us. Our wounded want to recover and go back into the fight. Their (azer) wounded might as well be counted as dead. The vast majority aren't coming back.
How many wounded ? Can't ask a liar. How many charges by them in 5 days and how many retreats ?
They didn't retreat for no reason. Lots of casualties and many more wounded.
All their numbers seem too small to me.
Of course, according to turc, few Armenians were killed in the genocide.
