I forgot to mention, my friend sent me a video of us launching like 13 or 14 grad missiles. This was on Tuesday so it was after the cease fire. For those of you who were complaining (a few days ago), that we weren't hitting them hard, this isn't true. Sorry I'm posting this now. I was just catching up to the thread.

Do you remember Arpa-Sevan Water carying tunnel/ How it was built?
It is not very wide, maybe 2-3 meter Dia. It took so many years and enourmous resources. Or metro in yerevan. Again very hard to dig.
Unlike Syria, or other place, our soil is just about most dencely packet with boulders in the world.
Imagine that we build tunnels on contact line neverthless... After sinking so much resources in it, those tunnels will become a big focal strategic points, which will be relatively easy to overcome. I mean, they dont have to kill every body in it. Just azeris flank those and move ahead and tunnels will be in their rear. The terrain open and since our army cannot get to them, azeris have opportunity to kill lot of our trapped soldiers and score big. Our morale will be killed.
Like in Syria, Syrian army goes around over tunnels easily and eventually kills rebels inside. Its just we cannot fight like Syrian rebels or Vietnameeze Vietcong. Because if we give same number of losses as theese two, the war will be over for us. We will loose.

We have tons of explosives that can be used to break boulders. The fact that you guys doubt Armenians potential is disheartening. The tunnels I'm talking about on the front line would be one meter wide and 2 meters tall running 100 200 meters. Don't tell me we can't build hundred of tunnels like I described. With explosives and equipment these tunnels could be dug in the hundreds and cheaply enough to were they could be abandoned without worry. Over the course of years of course.

They were eight guys looking after an advanced location.

Vulnerable retreat terrain and run out of ammo.

The squad almost wiped out during "tactical retreat" after being told "we cannot help you make your way back".

I wonder before tunnels we should have more planned interlinking trenches rather than isolated positions.

Hopefully it also gives some foresight to those who declare we should take more territory which in practice it would take months to make them defendable.

Quick question, does anyone know how many S-300 systems Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh posses overall? Also, I've heard occasional rumors that we have a s-400 systems, any truth to this?

I've seen an s-300 battery once on the road to karabagh,after the crossing the borders, to your right.also regarding the s-400; there were rumors about the interrest of armenia,but no one has confirmed it

I did found out their exact location, next village of Banchunistan.

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan’s belated recognition of recent developments on the contact line is nothing but another unsuccessful attempt of the defeated “warlord” to justify himself, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
The statement reads below:

Ohanyan’s statements, which do not reflect real events and situation, are cliché sentences copied from the past century’s combat charters.

If the Armenians claim that they did not make use of combat reserves and their tank crewmen fought “skillfully and valiantly,” why do they forget to admit that up to 30 Armenian tanks sent from the depth of defense, moving in colons, and tens of artillery pieces were destroyed?”, the statement said.

A couples days ago, the Armenian side claimed that Azerbaijan had launched a large-scale offensive with the participation of four military formations. Now Ohanyan, having forgotten the point, is trying to make his people believe that the clashes had taken place between platoons.

Ohanyan’s statements that the Armenian army allegedly has more powerful weaponry at its disposal are absurd. A question arises: if they had such weapons, who stopped him from using those weapons? We’re sure that if the Armenian invaders had any such weapons, they would not have hesitated to use them. Perhaps, Ohanyan was talking about the outdated weapons in military bases in Armenia, left from the Soviet period, or chemical weapons handmade by “Armenian masters”? If so, the enemy needs to keep in mind that in case they use this weapon or violates the ceasefire, threatening the civilians’ security, then our retaliation will be more precise, more decisive, and sterner.

Another issue is that Ohanyan’s claims that they have great mobilization resources, volunteers and a strong army failed on the very first day.

If they take into account the volunteers, who are starving in misery, do not have any support, not even receive a pension and gather “for a piece of bread’, and the despised executioners with blood-stained hands in the murder of civilians and the elderly, forcibly placed in trenches, maybe then they can claim that Armenia has mobilization resources. Ohanyan’s comparison of the Armenian army with our Armed Forces is his fantasy and dream that is impossible to be realized. The power of the Azerbaijan Army is already a reality and the recent events once again proved it.

As for Ohanyan’s claims on the positions on the frontline, the task assigned to our military units during the hostilities caused by the Armenian subversive acts is to ensure the safety of the people living along frontline. Our army, which took control of the strategic heights around these settlements, has fulfilled this task successfully.

Claims that the Armenian military units are controlled at a high level are ridiculous. From the very beginning, we have witnessed the primitiveness of this control system which they touted. The enemy army was paralyzed from the first strikes of the Azerbaijani military units. Military operations have shown that provision and supply of Armenian armed forces and involvement of additional forces are in chaotic state. These events once again proved in what a deplorable situation are Armenian soldiers.

Contrary to the pathetic statements, empty dreams and utopian claims of the Armenian military and political leadership, strikes of our military units were so unexpected and destroyed their ‘dreams of victory’. Because in the course of the counter-offensive, we have taken electronic warfare measures against the enemy and conducted aerial surveillance of the enemy positions. The strikes of the Azerbaijani side on enemy forces were so devastating that the opposite side has been able to respond to us only after two days. This was made possible only after a partial stability that emerged as a result of persistent requests of intermediaries on the cessation of hospitalities in response to Armenians’ pleas to the whole world.

We inform you that thanks to the unity of the army and the people, attention and care of the country’s leadership, as well as courage and heroism, Azerbaijani soldiers defeated the enemy forces and forced them to flee.

Azerbaijani Armed Forces control all of liberated heights, holding at gunpoint the military facilities deep inside the enemy lines. Azerbaijani Armed Forces are always ready to strike at enemy positions. Just this fact make the Armenians be in fear and panic.

Քանի որ հիմա էլ «զորքը պատրոն չի ունեցել» թեման է դարձել ամենաթրենդայիններից մեկը ֆեյսբուքում, փորձեմ բացատրել մի քանի կարևոր բան, որպեսզի հասկանաք, որ էլի ախմախ թեմա է ընտրվել, որի շուրջ հիմնականում պրոֆանական և էմոցիոնալ փաստարկներ են հնչում։

Փորձեմ ձեզ ներկայացնել երևույթը փեյնթով ու ձեռքով նկարած շատ սիրողական այս սխեմայի վրա։

Հիմա՝ որպես հրետանավոր, բացատրեմ բոլորիդ, թե ինչպես կարող է լինել այնպես, որ մեկ, կամ էլ նույնիսկ մի քանի դիրքում փամփուշտ պրծնի։

1․ Դիրքապահ ստորաբաժանումն իր հետ դիրք է տանում ռազմապաշար։ Ջոկի մասշտաբով դա արտահայտվում է հետևյալ կերպ․

- ինքնաձիգ ունեցողներն ունեն 6 պահունակ, որոնցից յուրաքանչյուրում 30 փամփուշտ կա։ Բացի դրանից, կարող են մի քանի արկղ փամփուշտ էլ հետները տանել, որոնցում ևս մի քանի հազար փամփուշտ է։

- գնդացրորդը տանում է մոտ 700-1000 փամփուշտ։

- նռնականետորդն ունի (կամ համենայն դեպս սրանից մի 10 տարի առաջ ուներ) 3 կրակոց։

Արդյունքում, միայն փամփուշտները արդեն մի քանի տասնյակ կիլոգրամ են կազմում։ Գումարեք սրան զենքերի քաշը, նռնակներն ու այլ ամունիցիան։ Շատ է, չէ՞։ Նայած ոնց նայես հարցին։ Օրինակ՝ ինքնաձիգով 180 փամփուշտը կարելի է կրակել մի քանի րոպեում, եթե անդադար լիցքավորես ու կրակես։

Հիմա տեսեք․ մարտը սկսվել է։ Հակառակորդը հրետանի է սկսում կիրառել ինչպես մեր դիրքերի վրա, այնպես էլ 1-ին ու 2-րդ գծերն իրար միացնող միջակայքն է կրակի տակ պահում։ Էլ չխոսեմ, որ կարող է ավելի խորը թիկունքին խփի։ Առավել ևս ԱԹՍ-ների առկայության պարագայում, շատ հեշտ է դարձել հրետանաին հարվածներ հասցնել ռեզերվից առաջին գծին օգնության եկող ստորաբաժանումներին ու մարտապաշար տեղափոխող այլ տարնսպորտին։ Խիտ հրետանային կրակը կարող է ընդհանրապես պարալիզացնել նման շարժերը և մի որոշ ժամանակով կարող է իզոլացնել առաջին գծի մեկ կամ մի քանի դիրքեր։

Միևնույն ժամանակ, առաջ է սկսում գալ հակառակորդի կենդանի ուժը, որի հետ փոխհրաձգություն վարելով, մեր ստորաբաժանումն աստիճանաբար սպառում է իր փամփուշտների պաշարը։ Եթե հակառակորդի հրետանին գործի բավական գրագետ ու բավական երկար ժամանակահատվածում, ապա մեր ստորաբաժանման ողջ մարտապաշարը կարող է սպառվել էլ (ինչը և եղել է)։

Այդ ժամանակ, բանը հասնում է ձեռնամարտի, որի ժամանակ հակառակորդ զինվորները իրար հետ կռիվ են տալիս հենց խրամուղիներում ու հենակետում՝ ձեռքի տակ եղած բոլոր հարմարր միջոցներով։

Շատերին թվում է, թե մեր զինվորները սովորական բոստանի բահերով են կռվել, բայց բանակն ունի սակրավորային կարճ բահեր, որոնք ինքնին զենք են։ Դրանց սայրերը սրված են ու մերձամարտում այն նույն հաջողությամբ կատարում է տապարի դեր։ Արդյունքում՝ ստանում ենք այն, ինչ ստանում ենք․ սպառված մարտապաշար ու մեր վերանվաճված դիրքում հայտնաբբերված 2 ասկյարի դի, որոնց սպանել են բահով։

Այնպես որ, հերթական պրոֆանացիաներին տրվելուց առաջ, համոզվեք, որ հասկանում եք, թե ինչի մասին է խոսքը։ Պրոֆանացիաների հետագա տարափից խուսափելու համար էլ կարող եմ նշել, որ օրինակ ամերիկյան հատուկ նշանակության ստորաբաժանումներում սակրավորային բահը պաշտոնապես ընդգրկված է նաև որպես մերձամարտի զենք։

Հավելեմ նաև, որ նույնիսկ ամենաժամանակակից ու հզոր բանակաները, որոնք պատերազմ են վարել վերջին 20-30 տարում, չեն կարող պարծենալ, որ չեն եղել իրավիճակներ, երբ իրենց առանձին փոքր ստորաբաժանումներ ինչ որ պահի էլ փամփուշտ չեն ունեցել և մերձամարտի են բռնվել։

Հ․Գ․ Հազար ու մի այլ թեմա կա, որոնց վրա պետք է խորանալ․ կապի միջոցների խայտառակ պակասը, եղած տեխնիկայի պաշտպանվածության ու պահեստամասերով ապահովվածության աստիճանը, տեխնոլոգիապես հակառակորդին զիջելը և այլն, իսկ դուք դրած երկու օր է մազ եք փիտում, որ դիրքերից մեկում փամփուշտներ են վերջացել ու բահերով են կռվել․․․

Հիմա տեսեք․ ստորաբաժանումը սկսում է մարտը, որը ոչ թե մի քանի րոպե է տևում, այլ կարող է անգամ ժամեր տևել։
