MP: Azerbaijan asked Russia to stop military actions launched in April

YEREVAN. - The Azerbaijani side phoned and asked Russia to stop the military actions launched in April, Secretary of Heritage faction, MP Tevan Poghosyan said at the telebridge entitled “Prospects for Russian mediation in Karabakh conflict”.

According to the MP, in this respect Russia’s role is already determined by its interetss, which is maintaining influence in the region. “How can this be done? Keep the region’s countries in dependence in order to advance its interests,” Poghosyan noted.

He also recalled that Azerbaijan manifested aggression on April 2-6. “It’s hard to say what they wanted to change. But, unfortunately, 22 years after signing the ceasefire agreement of 1994, Azerbaijan got armed, this apparently meaning that they want to solve the issue by military means,” Pohgosyan concluded.
    Joseph,
I think this issue with Azerbaijan arming is becoming obsessive in so much that is blanketing lots of important issues.
In a sort of way aliev's arms binge is not only spinning Azeri heads but also takes away our attention annesessarily too.
Without denial we should concentrate on defeating this advantage quickly. The 4day battle showed that it is not easy for Azeris to effectively influence an outcome of war.
If we stand to use the experience and right preparations, it will be much harder for Baku to achieve any results.
I liked Samvel Babayan's umbrella concept.
More or less our military has modernized the use of post ww2 artillery behind imagination. Farther push and we will create situation that any arms quantity imbalance cannot have desired bearing on war.
For example, in 2006 Lebanon war clearly hezbollah was affective against tanks, but could not defend against Israeli artillery.
I remember a clip with narration where hezbollah fired from rocket launcher and soldiers run away even as rockets were still launching. About 15-20 seconds later Israeli shells destroyed the launcher completely.
That's how much it takes for Israelis to pinpoint and destroy enemy installation.
It's all electronics and very possible to produce.
Do we have anything like it in works?

          Turkish BTR-80 with thermal imaging.
We need to apply this to our BTRs, with locally produced parts.

I was just watching a clip of what happened outside Bundestag right after ballot results were announced.
Armenian youth was dancing a kochari. The same kochari that their great grandfathers danced on May 9th, 1945, on the same spot.
But this time they were not dancing on the ground of a defeated enemy, but a friend that has come long way in establishing true image of German people.
This is a victory of Germans.
Then I saw Greek and Kurdish flags along our blessed tricolor. Greeks and Kurds were rejoicing with us.
This is just a picture of mix that soon is going to come and shake bloody turkey off its foundations.
We are going to laugh the last, people...

US is left to finalize it. The rest they can follow if they want to admit truth.
