Armenian Peacekeepers have Left for Germany for Training

 20 JULY 2016
Another group from the peacekeeping brigade of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia has left for Germany, where they will undergo training, and thereafter be transported to Afghanistan to carry out a peacekeeping mission.

Before departure, commander of the peacekeeping brigade Major-General Artur Simonyan spoke with the servicemen, encouraging them to carry out their service honorably and remain loyal to the traditions of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. Armenia has been taking part in NATO-led missions since 2010. Armenian servicemen carry out their mission under German leadership in the Afghani norther command.

Is this what we are getting in place of the Iskander?Originally posted by burjuin View Post

.Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

On a more serious mode. This eskander thing is a mere rumour and nothing more. They already have it at there base. Why would they give it to us. It would upset the balance with their 'strategical partners' in baku.

Armenia says Turkey better stay away from Armenian-Azeri relations

 July 26, 2016 - 13:40 AMT

PanARMENIAN.Net - An Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman on Tuesday, July 26 urged Turkey to distance itself from the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said earlier that his visit to Azerbaijan prior to the failed coup in Ankara tackled the mending of ties between Baku and Yerevan.

In a conversation with PanARMENIAN.Net spokesman Tigran Balayan said Armenia doesn’t need Turkey’s intervention in relations with Azerbaijan.
“If Turkey really wants to be helpful, it’d better stay away from the issue,” he said.
