          Nineteen-Year-Old Armenian Serviceman Killed by Azerbaijani Fire

          STEPANAKERT, NKR (A.W.)—Armenian serviceman Vahagn Virabyan (b. 1997) was killed by Azerbaijani fire on Oct. 15. Virabyan was killed on the southern direction of the Nagorno-Karabagh (Artsakh/NKR) Line of Contact (LoC) at around 8:40 a.m. according to a press statement released by the NKR Defense Ministry.

          The report also indicated that an investigation into Virabyan’s death has been launched by the ministry.

          Virabyan’s death comes four days after another Armenian serviceman, Sanasar Grigoryan (b. 1989), was killed by Azerbaijani fire on Oct. 11. Grigoryan was killed on the eastern direction of the NKR LoC.

          Four days before Grigoryan’s death, on Oct. 7, Armenian serviceman Hayk Hambardzumyan (b. 1996) sustained a gunshot wound in his chest while serving on the NKR LoC. On Oct. 10, Hambardzumyan was transferred from the Stepanakert Military Hospital to Yerevan by helicopter, where he remains in serious but stable condition.

          Three weeks ago, another Armenian serviceman, Sevak Khachatryan (b. 1997) was killed on morning of Sept. 25. According to a statement released by the NKR Defense Ministry, Khachatryan received a fatal gunshot wound at around 10:40 a.m. on Sept. 25, after Azerbaijani troops committed over 50 ceasefire violations, firing around 600 shots towards Armenian positions using various caliber firearms.

            RIP...so sad,do our forces respond to such violations by killing azeri servicemen?

              Training camps have taken place

              14 OCTOBER 2016
              The artillery bases and subdivisions subordinate to the 3rd Army Corps of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia have taken part in a training camp at one of the training grounds of the Armed Forces.


              The aim of the training camps was to develop servicemen's combat preparedness, strategic-professional knowledge and professional skills through theoretical lessons and practical training.

              Subdivisions that participated in the training camp also had live firing practice in the training grounds.
              The artillery bases and subdivisions subordinate to the 3rd Army Corps of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia have taken part in a training camp at one of the training grounds of the Armed Forces.

                Mesrob Kazanjian and his 2 brothers who fled Raqqa, Syria with their family are serving in the Karabakh Defense Army.

                    It's a misleading news. He actually didn't get shot by the enemy but by some traitor at the post.
