But I have to repeat my question I already asked about the D-44 and the D-1 howitzers. How we use these MT-12 anti-tank-guns in battle? As far as I know they are not effective against modern tanks (even against T-72) and are towed. There is a video Burjuin posted a while ago where one of our soldiers says clearly that they need more time to reload than a tank so the first shot must be a hit. So in my opinion the crew of a MT-12 is cannon fodder.
Right, this thing needs significant calculation to hit a tank and the soldiers should hit the tank on the first attempt or else their position will be exposed and easily targeted. Any ATGM can do a better job with less manpower. Tanks are faster now due to larger engines, and the MT-12 is not good at targeting moving objects. These should be retired or just used as field guns, although 100mm is small for a field gun.

That's exactly what I think. We should replace everything uneffective. Our personnel number is very limited. Using such systems means waste of ressources and unnecessary risk of losses. There are much more systems in our army which are completely uneffective on a modern battlefield such as D-44, D-1, KS-19, AZP S-60 and BMP-1. We are using some systems which are usually used by guerilla and jihadist groups.
