Apparently we’ve been looking into buying MLRS from India? This is especially interesting to me because our side hasn’t said anything about this, it seems like we’ve been talking to a wide variety of weapon producers without saying anything because India isn’t one of our traditional suppliers. However not sure if this is a good idea, it seems like it would be a better idea to purchase more an MLRS we already have, since this is very similar to the Bm-30 Smerch and WM-80’s, and having a ton of very similar weapon systems from different countries isn’t very effficient. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/...w/65536066.cms

The Pinaka MBRL is stated to be cheaper than other systems. It costs

(US$330,000) per system compared to the M270 which costs

₹

₹19.5 crore

(US$2.8 million).
