Azerbaijani soldier was wounded as a result of a ceasefire violation by the Armenian Armed Forces from positions outside the occupied Agdam region, Azerbaijani Deputy Defense Ministry Spokesman Teymur Abdullayev said.

Thirty-year old Anar Suleymanov was injured as a result, Abdullayev said.

He was hospitalized. Suleymanov’s state of health is moderate.

Հրամանատարաշտաբային զորավարժություն Ապրիլի 18-ից 23-ը հանրապետության զինված ուժերի Արևելյան օպերացիոն ուղղության զորքերի խմբավորման հետ անցկացվեցին բազմաստիճան հրամանատարաշտաբային զորավարժություններ, որոնց ընթացքում հաշվի առնվեցին ինչպես տարածշրջանային ռազմաքաղաքական ներկա վիճակից բխող հավանական զարգացումները, այնպես էլ օպերատիվ-մարտավարական նշանակության խնդիրների լուծման համար անհրաժեշտ բոլոր նախադրյալները:
Զորավարժության նպատակն էր բարձրացնել օպերացիոն ուղղության զորքերի կառավարման մարմինների, դրանցում ստեղծված աշխատանքային խմբերի, զորամասերի և ստորաբաժանումների հրամանատարների ու շտաբների ունակությունները պաշտպանողական ու հակահարձակողական մարտերի վարման ժամանակ, ինչպես նաև կատարելագործել նրանց մարտական պատրաստականության բարձր աստիճանների բերման և զորքերի օպերատիվ ծավալման գործնական պատրաստվածությունը:
Զորավարժությունը, որը մեկնարկեց տագնապ ազդականչով և անցավ պաշտպանողական ու հակահարձակողական մարտերի վարման բոլոր փուլերը, նախորդներից տարբերվում էր մի շարք առանձնահատկություններով: Դրանցից, թերևս, ամենագլխավորը արդիական պատերազմում կիրառվող մարտավարական ու ռազմավարական խնդիրների ճշգրտումն էր և լուծման նոր ուղիների հստակեցումը:
Համաբանակային նշանակության միջոցառման ընթացքում հատուկ ուշադրություն դարձվեց նաև զորքերի բարձր աստիճանների մարտական պատրաստականության բերման, զորահավաքային ռեսուրսով դրանց համալրման և ըստ կենտրոնացման շրջանների ծավալման, մարտական իրադրության զարգացման պայմաններում հրամանատարների, շտաբների և զորավարժություններին ներգրավված ողջ զինանձնակազմի առջև դրված խնդիրների կատարման հաջորդականությանն ու որակական ցուցանիշներին:
