The Azerbaijani Defense Industry Ministry and the Jordanian company "NP Aerospace Jordan" signed an agreement on joint manufacturing of body armors and helmets. The contract was signed by the NP Aerospace Executive Director Nabil Issa, and Radioqurasdırma factory Director Ramiz Mammadov, based on reports from the Arab press.

According to the contract, part of the body armor will be manufactured in Jordan and another part in Azerbaijan. The Jordanian company will supply the "Radioqurasdırma" factory with 15,000 units of composite materials for the production of helmets and ceramic plates and 12,000 units for the production of the body armors.

Azerbaijani specialists will be trained in Jordan to manufacture body armors and helmets. Production will begin in 2012.

They gonna need it.....but then again they are only prolonging their misery, they should invest in better technics on tactical retreats from battlefield, considering during such moves the most casualties normally occur.

They don't need to practice, they are already experts at retreating. They already have "Operation Retreat" set up and are just waiting to use it. I saw it and it was a perfect plan of retreat.

Yes, our Su-25's carry R-60 air-to-air missiles.

Yes, our Su-25's carry R-60 air-to-air missiles.

I did some research and you are right Armenia is listed as having those air-to air-missiles........which means our SU-25s are capable of utilizing them on the battlefield, which looks like we are from the attached "Rail Adaptor" hanging off of the pylon of our jet.

I always thought the SU-25TM is the only one that can engage other aircraft in flight, I am glad I was wrong.

One thing about the R-60 is that until just recently it held the record for short distance targeting (normally missiles have a minimum distance to target range; this is why pilots switch to guns when too close to the enemy aircraft).

This will come in very handy shooting down Azeri gunships in close quarters who are trying to cut down our troops. We will send one right up their tailpipe......ArmeniaR1, you did it again, you made my day, a very happy day. I needed that after today's flight.

Hey guys, my name is Mher. I was born in Iran, and moved to America about 10 years ago. Im hoping to move to Armenia within a few years after graduating college, but for now, I m doing my best to keep up with Armenian news. Ive been following this messageboard for about the past 2-3 months to get caught up on Armenian politics and issues. I finally finished going through this thread and the some of the other key ones, and I want to thank you guys for all the information, updates, and pictures you provide.
