Ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական հակամարտ զորքերի շփման գծի հյուսիսարեւելյան (Մարտակերտի) պաշտպանական ուղղությամբ տեղակայված դիրքերից մեկում հակառակորդի կողմից արձակված գնդակից հրազենային վիրավորում է ստացել ՊԲ ժամկետային զինծառայող, 19-ամյա Գեւորգ Էդիկի Եղիազարյանը: Այս մասին NEWS.am-ը տեղեկանում է ԼՂՀ պաշտպանության բանակի մամուլի ծառայությունից:

Դեպքից անմիջապես հետո, վիրավորին տեղափոխել են զինվորական հոսպիտալ: Միջադեպի հետ կապված մանրամասները ճշտելու համար տարվում է քննություն:

NEWS.am-ի տեղեկություններով, զինվորը վիրավորվել է մարտական հենակետում հերթապահության ժամանակ. Վնասվել է նրա պարանոցն ու բերանի հատվածը:

Done. Though it seems they just accept checks for donation :/

I don't think donations is what they are after (of course that wouldn't hurt).....their email to me indicated that they would like to reach more Armenians.

yeah already done that before i sent. They said they're just a kind of embassy for NKR, can't recieve money officially, let alone by visa.

What a ridiculous color for a combat Heli....its not like they be operating out of a snow cap. If its night ops surveillance then they should have been black. Whats next, pink?
They be crashing them soon anyway so white is good.....easy to spot from the air by rescue choppers.

Really? White doesn't seem to wrong for an aircraft, since the sky is a light color, with clouds or sunlight, having military woodland camo on an AIRCRAFT creates a silhouette against the light backdrop of the sky, seems silly-er than white. Also again, black, even at night time white which doesn't have light to reflect isn't to bad at night, and can still work in daytime unlike black, but do not be fooled, at night time, EVERYONE can hear a helicopter, I have police helicopters flying around my city everyday, cant miss it, night time stealth for helicopters comes from Distance, not visual concealment. American Apaches are positioned a huge distance away from their targets, and they use missiles to kill the tanks, they are dead before they even hear a rotor. just my two cents.

New scandal around Moldovan-Armenian arms deal

Baku – APA. A new scandal occurred in Chisinau around the arms deal with Moldova. According to Nezavisimaya Gazeta, secretary of Moldova’s Supreme Security Council Yuriy Rikichinsky was invited to the parliament on Tuesday to make comment on the letter sent to acting president Marian Lupu.

Rikichinsky was asked to assist the fulfillment of arms deals. The question was about the sale of 20-ton missile launchers and appropriate ammunitions to Armenia.

Nezavisimaya Gazeta said that 40-ton ammunitions have been already delivered to the purchaser in September and this event caused protest in Azerbaijan and scandal in Latvia. Commander of the Moldovan National Army, Chief of General Staff, General Yuriy Dominik, who acknowledged that the arm deal was fulfilled on order from above, was dismissed. And the country’s leadership denied its awareness of this deal.

Moldovan Defense Ministry said they sold old, unusable ammunitions to Armenia. Later it became clear that usable ammunitions were shipped to the transport planes in Merkuleshti airdrome. There were Cobra 9B862, 9B863 control missile systems, Concurs-M anti-tank missiles, xxxot, Concurs, Shturm-S, Metis missiles among the arms sold to Armenia. The ammunitions’ market price is $5 million. Moldovan defense minister Vitaly Marinuta acknowledged during the parliamentary hearing that his country sold arms and military hardware to Armenia in amount of $3.3 million.

The arms deal was suspended. On February 27, MP from Communist faction Alexander Petkov demanded explanation from the Supreme Security Council’s secretary. Rikichinsky refused to give explanation and the lawmakers accused him of acting on order of the president reminding that he was the chief of the president’s security guard.

Expert of Geneva Center for Democratic Control of Armed Forces Viorel Cibotaru said the scandal rose because Moldovan parliament was not informed about the arms deal with Armenia and Chisinau didn’t negotiate this issue with Baku. “The route of arms shipment caused misunderstanding with Latvia, but other issues were within the framework of international law. Moldova has a right for arms deal, including the sale arms shown in the list”.

why is this such a big deal anyway? In the end of the day, its just political babble by all sides about nothing.
