I hope they continue to tell their people that we are weak! This way the first time they taste some medicine they will run like chickens again! They are a bunch of cowards!

Our (outdated) +20 years old SU-25’s are from Slovakia These SU-25’s are operational and can assist our ground troops but are sensitive for enemy fire and as far I know they don’t night vision equipment.

All SU-25s come standard with with original armored plating, so there is no difference as far as the amount of battle damage sustained between them. Night vision is nice to have but it is not a a must to fly combat missions at night. SU-25s not only can fly support missions for our troops but can also clear a safe path for them to enter the enemy controlled territory.

As long we don’t have the financial resources to buy and maintain Mig-29’s or any other we have to do all it takes to update our SU-25’s to today’s standard so they can fully assist our ground troops coming years in day and night. Even important is to keep investing in our air defence forces to cut the advantage which the Azeri’s have with their air force.

Let’s hope for the best.

I am not sure about this, I think Armenia can maintain a squadron of Mig-29s with no problem. Remember we are the Armenians....we can fix anything with nothing

Guys the new UAV's are also called Krunk? or its something else?

We don't know.....we don't even have a closeup picture of it.
Very frustrating.

SU-25's comes indeed with armored plating but the problem is it's equipped with unguided munitions and therefore has to approach within 600 to 800 meters of targets. That's also the reasons why Russian SU-25 were shot down in Georgia and Afghanistan back in the days, even it’s armored....which haves its maximum of course. If the SU-25's are equipment with guided munitions this problem can partly solved.

Regarding the night vision, this would be really be a plus as I think the Azeri's will also (if they) attack us at night... Support ours troop or clear a safe path is the same for me..

About the Mig-29's.... I seriously haves my doubts as like I said because of financial reasons but like you say.... ''we can fix anything with nothing'' that’s really true!!!

an F-16 costs about 7k $ in one fly-hour. so given 150 hours a year, that's 1 050 000$ for one F-16. for 24 F16s, that's 25 200 000 $.
Mig-29 is cheaper, so i'd not say it's impossible for armenia to maintain a couple of squadrons.
Only problem i'd see is actually buying the refurbished planes, which is why i'm saying it'd be ideal to wait for russians to get bored of Mig-29's at erebuni.
