Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

RA MOD: Azerbaijan attempting to raise the “fighting spirit” of its army and destabilize the situation
    11.09.2009 11:00
The Press Service of the Ministry of defense reminds today that on September 10 Azeri media disseminated information that the divisions of the Armenian Armed Forces had launched an unsuccessful attack in the direction of Aghdam, leaving five killed and 3 had wounded. Press Secretary of the NKR Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant Colonel Senor Hasratyan came forth with an official statement, refuting the reports of the Azeri media.

The same day Azerbaijani vesti.az webpage published an interview with military expert Useir Jafarov. Unable to respond to the question how one could speak about the concrete number of victims if there were no bodies, Jafariov said “any attack is accompanied by losses, irrespective of the fact whether the Armenian side reveals the number of victims or not.”

"This cheap move of the Azeri media shows that the Azerbaijani side is once again trying to raise the “fighting spirit” of its army, simultaneously destabilizing the situation,” the Armenian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

    Another exposure of Azeri media
    10:13 / 09/11/2009

Azeri media again is cheating. To frustrate Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, Baku casts prudence to the winds disdaining apparent juggling with facts.

Yesterday, a number of Azeri information agencies reported about exchange of fire in Agdam direction contact-line of Karabakh conflict zone. Azeri media referring to unofficial sources said as if during the exchange of fire five Armenian servicemen were killed, whereas one got injured from Azeri side.

NKR Defense Ministry has officially denied the information.

Thus, on Sept.10, Azeri side decided to charge the obvious misinformation by fake facts and publish a photo of the “killed” Armenian serviceman. The article in Russian is available by Vesti.az. However, in fact it is a shot of 2008 August war in Geogia with a dead Georgian soldier. To make sure it is true, please see photo session at RF Communist Party official website.

When even the Azeri military refuses to confirm the skirmish, you know its false and the fact that the NKR military still adamantly denies the existence of the skirmish even days later lends more credence to the fact it has never occured.

This reminds of something that happend on the Aghdam section of the front 7 years ago, the Azeri media cliamed that their forces liberated a section of the Aghdam front in an attack. The reality was that that section fof Aghdam was never occupied by Armenian forces and there was no evidence of figthing there. The Azeri military denied it as well.

The Azeri media, all of which is a mouthpiece for the government is trying to make the so-called talks between Armenia and Turkey more volatile.

And that my friend is what the information war is about. There's a load of crap out there published on a daily basis and it is Armenia's and Armenians' duties to debunk them and go on the offensive. Cheers to News.am.

news.am was the first newspaper to break this story and now panArmenian is reporting it.

also here is another article by news.am

Azeri media, Turkish diplomacy: episode of life
              18:31 / 09/11/2009

Azerbaijani propaganda continues its desperate efforts to slander and disport the facts. The Vesti.az webzine has disgraced itself today by trying to pass a photo of a killed Georgian soldier for an Armenian one allegedly killed in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. After the dirty trick was laid bare, the webzine changed the picture: you can now see brave Armenian soldiers on the alert for any threat to peace in the conflict zone.

It is noteworthy, however, that, after getting off on the wrong foot, the unlucky Azeri propagandists did not abandon their disinformation efforts.

We would remind our readers of Azeri media’s recent reports on a skirmish on the contact line between the Armenian and Azerbaijani troops in the Aghdam sector. Yesterday, the Azeri media, referring to an unofficial source, reported that five Armenian soldiers had been killed, whereas only one Azeri soldier was wounded. The Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) officially refuted the information. . “It is a figment of imagination of Azeri propaganda. There was no skirmish. The Nagorno-Karabakh armed forces are in full control of the contact line, making the Azerbaijani side honor the 1994 cease-fire agreement,” stated Senor Asratyan, Press Secretary of the NKR Ministry of Defense.

Nonetheless, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, who appears to implicitly trust Azeri journalists’ professional skills, called his Azeri counterpart Elmar Mamedyarov to “express regret over the incident on the front line, which caused the death of five Armenian soldiers.” Minister Davutoglu expressed hope that “nothing like that [would] recur.” The Turkish media reported this information without specifying Mamedyarov’s reaction to his Turkish counterpart’s regret over the “death of five Armenian soldiers” or the reason why Davutoglu did not call his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandyan to express his regret over the “one wounded Azeri soldier.” Moreover, we have to state the fact that the regret was expressed to Baku, not Yerevan, as the incident, if it took place at all, was provoked by the Azeri side. In this case, we suppose the talk between the Davutoglu and Mamedyarov had nothing in common with the alleged incident.

              A smart plot, isn’t it?

These drunk beer drinking half organized and half volunteer Armenian soldiers in past kicked you azerbaboon arsses so hard that you didn’t know where to hide; I mean imagine if they were sober they would’ve kicked your arsses out of azerbaboonistan. And these beer drinking drunk soldiers are ready to do the same if you dare to do the same mistake, but this time they are more than ready and organized and waiting for cry babies.

Drinking actually enhances some abailities (driving is not one of them). I tried benchpressing while pretty buzzed and i lifted the same weight more times then i could when sober. I am not talking about being xxxxfaced drunk.
