I would be more worried on prices of crude oil creeping up almost $48.5 instead of couple small hills. Can we put this to rest?

Crude is up because of supply outages in Nigeria, and Canada.
It will go back down.

Alright...
I'll put it this way. For Glendale people, we lost from Chevy chase to Colorado avenues north /south and from central to Glendale boulevard east/west.
For Hollywood people... From Vermont Blvd to western and from Hollywood Blvd to melrose.
Clear?
And this is not as one lump territory but scattered along eastern frontline.
This is from a territory the size of lost Angeles county. From 138 fwy up north on kern county line down to Orange County line south of long beach, and from Santa Monica to San Bernardino line east of Pomona.

Though naming Glendale area could be wrong by me because the said area is all the world for some Armenians, lol

I'm getting annoyed everytime someone keeps bringing up the issue of the territory we lost, and using that to somehow suggest, whether directly or indirectly, that we were defeated. For the millionth time, our enemy carried out a well planned attack using a good chunk of their arsenal. They utilized mercenaries, special forces, artillery, tanks, helicopters, Smerch systems, GRAD launchers, armed drones and a large amount of infantry. There is solid evidence that they deployed a jet, but it aborted the mission once we spotted it on radar as it was about 15km away. Against this massive force, the only major weapons we used were artillery , tanks and Grad rockets. We killed over 400 of their soldiers and caused them a great amount of equipment and financial losses. More importantly, they failed their objective. So we lost 800 hectares. Let's keep in mind this territory is uninhabitable. All they really have are some trenches, and maybe a slither of land that has been mined like crazy. In the process, they have gained more refugees as Terter has been turned to rubble. Also, many other villages have been depopulated. So who is the real loser here? Were all those material losses, casualties of the highest trained soldiers, and the depopulation of villages worth it for them? All they got is Lele Tepe (which is surrounded on three sides by our troops, and some high ground in Talysh. Yes it's bad we lost 800 hectares, but people need to look at the bigger picture.

Just to add to this, let's not forget also the implications this has on the ongoing political negotiations. When in the past the sheep xxxxer in chief would threaten with use of force if his demands were not met during negotiations, he can't do that anymore. If they really believed they could resolve the issue militarily, they don't anymore. From the clashes, this is the real big win for us and huge defeat for them.

I am annoyed too to cynical behavior.
Just picturing it maybe so hard for some and confusing.
Ok people, let's say you have 2 bedroom home and you also have 2 bedrooms captured from your bad neighbors because of previous war. Both properties with kitchens bathrooms and balconies.
Now your neighbor shows up with machete, ax and baseball bat to kick you out and take all.
But you skillfully poke and take out his eye by a broom handle and shut the door. He stands there with bleeding, one eye gone on your door mat.
He got the door mat, but he could not enter and his eye is lost.
Who won?

If you people care so much about those 800 hectares then go and retake it yourself. Way too easy for you all to talk big on internet. The lifes of our young Armenian soldiers are invaluable while that piece of land that you all cry so much about is pretty much worthless. If a war breaks out thats a matter of a day to take back and it only has tactical meaning to take.

Basically Serge said it best today. He said the Azeris had 1 dead and 2 wounded for every hectare they took. He said let's assume that ratio is halved. Now use that ratio to calculate how much dead and wounded they would have to give just to take the "buffer zone."
