Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

    Tatevik Shahunyan
Aliyev sets sights on Armenia`s territory againx

ArmInfo.'Today, we do notxclaim the land of the modern Republic of Armenia. We do not intend toxreturn by military means Yerevan, or Meghri, Goris. But I'm sure thatxtime will come, and we, Azerbaijanis, will return to all our historicxlands,' President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said while in Terter.

According to him, Azerbaijan will achieve this by consistent policiesx and peacefully: 'All objective reasons show that this day will come.x Just each of us has to bring this day closer. How? We must becomex even stronger. In today's world the concept of 'international law,'x it can be said, has failed. Now the main factor is strength. This isx true.x We live in the real world. So we have to become even stronger,x to create a more powerful army. The economy should become strongerx and development should go faster. Note that even in the crisis yearsx the country's population is gradually increasing and will continue tox grow. After a few years, the population of Azerbaijan will reach 10x million. This trend continues. In the coming years, growth will bex even higher,' Azeri Daily quotes Aliyev as saying. x

Aliyev also touched upon the situation in Armenia: 'In Armenia,x population is shrinking.x This happens due to natural causes, becausex of migration, and as a result of hopelessness, despair,x arbitrariness. The current fascist regime in Armenia actually createdx unbearable conditions in the country. Therefore, the population willx decline there, leave the country, as it does today. We will return tox our lands. This requires a well-planned strategy, concept. We havex these. Our strategic policy is defined, and we will take tacticalx steps every year.

xFirst, it is a historical question. Second, a fairx question.x We stand for justice and the need to restore ourx territorial integrity. We can never allow a second Armenian state tox be created on our soil. On the contrary, we must try and will try tox increase the power of our country, to strengthen it, and to achievex this goal. The society is united on this and all other issues. Ourx successful development is a reality. We achieve this development,x even in the crisis years,' Azeri Daily quotes the Azeri President asx saying.x

    Hayastan or Bust.

Talish residents opt for return to Artsakh

Living in Talish will be as safe as in Mataghis or Martakert, authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic assure. Some residents of the village that was abandoned after the April war, have now returned to their home. The authorities pledge to create conditions for the villagers to return to Talish and stay there.

The NKR leadership has invited architects from Armenia and Diaspora to participate in reconstruction works. Secretary of the NKR Security Service Vitaly Balasanyan, who keeps the reconstruction works in the spotlight, says today’s modernized defense systems allow to ensure the security of all borderline settlements, including Talish.

The power supply has been fully restored, the water supply system will start working in the coming days. The road to the village is being reconstructed. Vitaly Balasanyan says residents of Talish will enjoy tax and energy benefits.

Speaking to Public Radio of Armenia, Spokesman for the NKR Prime Minister Artak Beglaryan said it’s hard to estimate the number of Talish residents still living in Armenia. “The numbers change, because more and more families opt for return to Artsakh,” he said.

According to Wikipedia "Armed Forces of Armenia" we have some 400 older and some newer armored personal carriers. Some have better protection some not so good but most could be taken out with modern missiles. The part we lack is small mobile advanced missile systems. Reason I mentioned the Kornet-EM tigr will be perfect for our scenario. They can move fast all along the border, small foot print with advanced target acquisition. If we can get 40 to 50 it will be excellent.

PanARMENIAN.Netx-xAzerbaijanixair authorities did not allow axRussianxmilitary-transport aircraft IL-76, heading for the Erebuni military airport inxArmenia, to fly in their airspace, forcing the plane to return to the departure airport in Sochi.
Conversations between the command post and the pilot, published by blogger GalandecZP, show that the Il-76 was flying to Syria through Armenia.
"You can't reach Yerevan. Azerbaijan won't allow. Overflight is prohibited ," said the controller. The crew was then instructed to return to the airport in Sochi.
Военно-транспортный самолет летел по "сирийскому" направлению в Армению через Азербайджан, однако был вынужден вернуться на аэродром вылета в Сочи. Причины инцидента не известны: раньше российские самолеты Азербайджан пропускал.
