      .

Some very interesting historic facts about Artsakh.

      .
Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

This is called treating the people like mushroom.
Keeping us in the dark and feeding us with sh.it.

        However the news is.

Not only interesting facts about Artsakh but about the whole negotiation process and the real position of all parties and politicians regarding the withdrawal from the regions surrounding the former NKAO. Vazgen Sargsyan proposed the "common state"-solution degrading Artsakh to an autonomous azeri region but became later a national hero. Kocharyan agreed in changing the whole Meghri region against Karabakh status (Key West) cutting up Armenia from Iran and is not regarded as a traitor. The solution proposed to Armenia, Artsakh and Azerbaijan in 1997 during Ter-Petrosyan's era is the best for us until today, but many forum members here would critisize Ter-Petrosyan as a traitor.
Unfortunately most forum members don't want to realize these facts. They differentiate between patriots and traitors by the rhetoric and not by their political steps. They hate anybody who tells them the truth because the truth contradicts their wishes.

There's a difference between words and deeds. Despite negotiations and statements about "the return of territories," the fact on the ground is that Armenians haven't given an inch. The fact on the ground is, kelbajar, one of the "occupied surrounding districts", is being heavily invested in road infrastructure and being linked the Republic of Armenia. This is not a sign of an intention to hand it over.

There's a lot of talk about vazgen sargsyan. All we can look at are the facts, that being his wartime leadership was instrumental in our victory. #2) he was responsible for levon stepping down due to his readiness to handover lands.

As far as talk of giving up Meghri, that's is utter non-sense. That would mean being encircled by Turks.

Excellent point that's not being considered.
Politicly, we are compelled to "negotiate". However, our true stance is non negotiable.
Every time the baboon attacks us, we have more reason to be intractable.
Do you think the monkeys are going to stop conniving? No, of course not, they're terks (lol). Therefore, the liberated lands remain with us, the rightful owners.
The reality is the azer terk can only lose more land they stole or stop attacking.
The outcome is more liberated land.

He was president for years. Why hasn't he accepted the peace plan ? Why only come now as the savior of Artsakh ?
Too much talk , typical politicians.
He even said it himself in the interview , Aliev (wheter father or son ) doesn't want peace.
