Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Re: Free, Independent, and United Armenia

I believe “Arach Hayastan” was Serjs and his Republican Party’s election slogan. This is a party that claims that its doctrines are based on the teachings of the Garegin Njdeh, yet their dominated parliament and government, spearheaded by their chairman and country’s president are actively delivering Armenia right into the hands of the enemy.
I'm not into politics, my friend. I don't give a xxxx who's slogan ARACH HAYASTAN was/is. I use that phrase whenever I like and the difference between me and the Armenian Republican party is that when I say ARACH HAYASTAN ... I MEAN IT!

So ARACH HAYASTAN and PAYKAR, PAYKAR MINCHEV VERJ...

After reading your posts I don't doubt that you do. Our Nation must be united to overcome the devastating results of 70 years of bolshevik-communist propaganda instilled in the minds of a lot of Armenians in RA, most tragically in the minds of the leadership.

I believe every Armenian in the world should be into politics, into Armenian politics, because indifference is one of the reasons that landed us into this trap called "road map".

No one is indifferent ... we simply have more important things to do and don't think about politics all day. Your so into politics that when I simply said Arach Hayastan, you immediately went into defence mode. That's not good. I'm also into politics, but I'm not a fanatic. Politics are very dirty and when you pay too much attention to them, you go deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole. You have to be able to talk about politics and know what's going on but not fall into it's grip. I hope you understand my point.

Right now, politics have spoiled our people and everything has turned into a game. Come here and you'll see what's going on. That's why I don't pay A LOT of attention to all this crap. I only pay attention to the serious issues flying around.

Then why don't people get out there and peacefully protest against this road map? What could be more important than the future of our country? Daily bread? Yes, it's very important, but is it more important?

No defence mode, just a wish to talk to an RPA member who can give me his/her prespective on the actions of their leaders.

I'm also into politics, but I'm not a fanatic.
When it comes to our Nation I'm a fanatic, and so should be everyone because the dangers are far too great. I hope you realize that after failing to destroy us physically turkchis are now seeking to destroy us by other, more peaceful means.

To win it you have to be in it. There is simply no other choice.

If you get a chance, whenever that might be, please do tell me what's going on. Your eyewitness account would be appreciated.

Short Answer? Yes, it is. You seem to know much about politics but don't know how dirty our gov. is at times. The main reason that most Armenians don't protest yet though isn't only because of food ... it's because they never stand together. Anyone can start a protest but you know why no one will? Because no one will stand by their side(s). The Armenian people never unite or do so only on very special occasions, which isn't enough. We have to ALWAYS stand together. If we did, we wouldn't be in the state we are now. For the past 800 years, Armenians have been standing alone and that's where their problems begin and that's why they went and still go through so much pain, poverty, and suffering.

A quick question, have you lived in Armenia, Dashnak?

No defence mode, just a wish to talk to an RPA member who can give me his/her prespective on the actions of their leaders.
I can give you books, not just perspectives, but they won't change anything. I've realized that the gov. here in Armenia will go through with it's plans in the end, good or bad, because the people here in Yerevan aren't uniting. If they do, this might change, but at the moment, it's a hopeless situation.

When it comes to our Nation I'm a fanatic, and so should be everyone because the dangers are far too great. I hope you realize that after failing to destroy us physically turkchis are now seeking to destroy us by other, more peaceful means.
Don't worry, we all know that very well. But still, no one should be a fanatic and I'm not. I am doing a lot for my country and it's people right now as we speak but not out of fanaticism but true love. There is a fine line between true love for your country/people and fanaticism/nationalism.

To win it you have to be in it.
In this country you can't win alone. Once you come here, I think you'll have a better idea of what's going on. The politics drive US ... not the other way around. Why? Because no one is uniting. Check out the sevri and Kars thread. I've talked about this in many of my posts in great detail.

There is simply no other choice.
              That's where your wrong...

If you get a chance, whenever that might be, please do tell me what's going on. Your eyewitness account would be appreciated.
It would only be an honor ! Check out the Kars and Sevres thread started by Anoush and start reading my posts. If you have any special questions, let me know in this thread.
