with the tornado you have to think about it like this:
1.) The US didnt do anything during the destruction of the Armenian cemetery in Nakhijevan
2.) They keep lying to the Armenian community claiming they will recognize the Armenian Genocide and never do
3.) Always turn a blind eye towards azerbaijan and there threats, there ceasefire violations, etc.
4.) Recently they cut aid to Armenia regarding the Millennium Challenge Account http://asbarez.com/94996/millennium-...s-armenia-aid/ and don't do xxxx when azerbaijan rigs elections, when they arrest a 5 year old girl and her mother, when they arrest opposition members. They dont say or do xxxx.

Trust me, I completely agree what kind of mofos they've been with us. But it shouldn't stop us from sending condolences, even if they are crocodile tear-ish. It's just standard diplomatic procedure that becomes more vital when your enemy is doing it too. Perhaps it will even help to get relations back on track, or forment new ones.

I don't get why Armenia does not adopt in its foreign policy the active "expressing of condolences" to world leaders on tragic events. Besides Russia and a select few countries or otherwise major world disasters (see Japan), I never hear about Armenia (at least publicly) sending condolences.

For example, there was a tornado outbreak in the US that killed 300+ people this week. Azerbaijan sent condolences to Obama... why does Armenia not do the same? Same with Morocco over the bombing in Marrakech, Azerbaijan was right there with a sending of condolences and no sign from Armenia. Sending these kinda things is a sign of respect for that nation and perhaps starts dialogue in the future. It could benefit Armenia while bringing no negatives.

From today! The RoA government must be monitoring this website Or they caught on to Azeri tactics. Either way, good job

Armenian President sends condolences to King of Morocco

YEREVAN. -President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent a condolence letter to His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco on the terrorist attack in Marrakech.

President Sargsyan noted he was deeply shocked by news of the terrorist attack in Marrakech which claimed many lives, presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“On behalf of the people of Armenia and my own behalf, I convey sincere condolences to you, the people of Morocco and families of the victims, and state to you our support in finding the culprits and bringing them to justice,” the message reads.

YEREVAN. - President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent a condolence letter to his U.S. counterpart Barack Obama on devastating tornadoes killing hundreds in the Southern states.

“I learned with deep sorrow the news of almost 300 deaths and devastation caused by tornadoes in the Southern states.

On behalf of the people of Armenia and my own behalf, I express my sincerest condolences to you and families of the victims. We share your pain and at this grave moment wish you patience and endurance,” the letter reads, presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Tornadoes and violent storms struck the states of Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia and Kentucky.

Serge is horrible at technology and anything related to the internet. A relative of mine asked him about Apple and he got confused and didn't know what it was. Plus, he is known never to use the computer, so it would have to be one of is aides who knows how to use it posing as him...

That's really a tragedy and highlights the generation gap that exists in Armenia very well...

It just shows the desperate state of our Armenian culture that even most of the "devoted", "patriotic" Armenians in here call our president Serzh Sargisyan, as "Serge". At the same time calling Ilham respectfully by his last name, Aliyev.

It shows the deep grown individualistic nature of Armenians and lack of respect. Yes, people then can tell dozens of stories how "corrupt" Serzh Sargysyan is compared to the Angels they are, but being president in a country like Armenia is an extremely hard job. Nobody has done a better job than him, and at least he is not striving to sell our lands to the Turks/Azeris like the Western puppet Levon Ter Petrosyan.

It's a good thing Armenians are critical and "democratic", but in our case this leads more to destruction rather than positive things. Sometimes I think that it would be better if Armenians were just sheeps like the Turks, hanging the picture of their genocidal dictator leaders (Ataturk, Aliyev, Erdogan) in every building. Can you imagine this in Armenia? Heck, we don't even hang the pictures of our heroes like Monte Melkonian in our homes, let alone to hang a picture of a living hero in the name of Commandos! No, we are too egoistic, individualistic and jealous for that. This is one of the reasons we have many troubles and are so easily divided.

Begin with your self, from this day, try to call the president of the Republic of Armenia, Sargisyan or Serzh Sargisyan. How much you like him, or not. I hope you (those whom I see as Armenians on this forum) get my point.

Many people called R. Kocharian 'Kocharian' while many people call S. Sargsyan 'Serzh', in my opinion because Sargsyan is a very common last name, while 'Serzh' is more unique. Don't think people are doing so because they want to be disrespectful. Of course, if you are face to face with him you would call him "Պարոն Նախագահ"
