Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

They will do the same thing to armenians and all other chrystians to if these animals win the war. Armenians should have taken the governments side in this fight because they will be dead or gone if the rebels win.

The Al Nusrah Front for the People of the Levant, an al Qaeda-linked jihadist group that is fighting Bashir al Assad's regime in Syria, has released two photographs of the execution of Syrian soldiers reportedly captured in Aleppo [one of the photographs is reproduced above]. The soldiers were "from the Hanano barracks" according to the statement that was released by the group. The short statement was released on Sept. 3 and translated by the SITE Intelligence Group on Oct. 3. .........

FSA at an Armenian retirement home in the district of Bustan Basha in Haleb. The old folks were evacuated a long time ago. Bustan Basha district is just north of the Armenian-populated Midan (Nor Gyugh) area.

Nope, it has never been able to take them over for more than a day. In fact, the Armenian-populated districts (all in central Aleppo) are what's stopping them from advancing for months now. Armenians are subject to random mortars by the FSA (not necessarily targeted for being Armenian though) but besides that, the most they ever did was take over a police station in Midan's edges which they lost 2 days later.

Midan, Suleymaniyeh, Aziziyeh, Jdeideh, Zuhour & Sirian Jdid are the district names to watch over as they are the ones where Armenians live, especially Midan (80%+). Midan borders two FSA infested districts of Bustan Basha and Suleiman Halabi so we should pay particular attention to those districts.

A map from Wikipedia which allegedly describes the situation in Haleb with red being Syrian Army, green being FSA, olive oil being areas where clashes have been reported/unclear situation and yellow being the neutral Kurds. You can find Midan in the middle in olive oil. But from the daily updates I get from Armenians there, it's not an accurate map as Midan's "clashes" are simply mortars that fall every now and then. The Syrian Army is in control there.

They know from Lepanon, when it came down to the nitty gritty Armo's once again showed that they can fight. And people from all over came and spoke to us and told us that it was a " Mis Understanding " After I heard this I asked myself is Mis Understanding good looking?

Oskanian: Syrian-Armenians’ security should be foreign policy priority for Armenia

Proposing steps to assist the community, the politician says that the Syrian-Armenians’ security should be a foreign policy priority for Armenia.

“Over five thousand Syrian-Armenians have now found a shelter in their homeland, leaving behind their houses and business. Both they and we have two key issues on our minds – when and how the Syrian nightmare is going to end, and what it is that Armenia can but hasn’t done so far for the Syrian Armenians,” Oskanyan says, stressing the importance of realizing the true causes behind the conflict.

As a possible answer to the first quesiton, has suggested three factors, including the atmosphere caused by the Arab Spring, the tension and dissatisfaction that accumulated in the past four decades and the foreign forces’ bias to topple Assad.

Oskanian, now a lawmaker of the Prosperous Armenia party, notes that the factors have changed have change since the outbreak of the Syrian crisis two years ago.

“The majority of the Syrian population is now coming to realize that it is paying a very heavy price for its own initiative to launch reforms as they are being speculated by others. As to the foreign forces, they seem to have arrived at the conclusion that it will be impossible to topple Assad in this way,” he says, adding that the forces which have penetrated into Syria in the past two years can now have a more influence on the conflict resolution than a possible US-Russia agreement or the conflicts and deals between the Syrian regime and opposition.

Addressing the second question, Oskanian says that the Armenians are the only minority community in Syria, which have a national state offering them a support and privileges to ease their burden.

“But the problem is that the majority of the Armenian community remains in Syria, facing higher threats to life by every day. It is at this point that Armenia has serious steps to make, using its diplomatic levers to relieve the situation. I do not see any active consultations with Damascus, Moscow and Tehran on the one hand and with the countries actively involved in the process on the other. So far, our diplomacy has not shown any efforts to work at least with the United States, Qatar, Lebanon and Jordan. I would rather we hadn’t spoiled the relations to Turkey to such an extent as that would make a dialogue possible. I think the foreign minister has to meet with the UN peace envoy, Lakhdar Brahimi.

In other words, the existence and security of the Syrian-Armenian community should be among our foreign policy priorities,” says the politician.

Syrian government holds talks for release of Armenian hostages

                    November 01, 2012 | 12:57
The Government of Syria is conducting negotiations for the release of ten people, including seven Armenians, who were taken hostage on Monday nearby Aleppo, reliable sources from the Armenian community of Syria told Armenian News-NEWS.am, and noted that all efforts are undertaken for their release.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, the Syrian opposition rebels on Monday stopped a civilian bus, which was heading from Aleppo to Beirut, and took ten people hostage. Seven of the hostages are Armenian and three others are Christian Arabs. The opposition rebels demand the release of their 150 followers and threaten to kill the hostages if their demand is not met within three days.

The Armenian hostages are Garo Pampalian, Arsen Aroian, Levon Zeytounian, and Bashar and Georges (father and son) Rabat. But the names of the two other hostages and all of their ages are not announced.

These rebels are terrorists being commanded by the Turks to attack Armenians. See how they attacked the Armenian Church. and of course, behind their backs are the J3ws and Israel. Any anti-Armenian activity out there, Israel is behind it. Someone needs to wipe Israel off the map. Let's go Iran.
