Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

STRATFOR 2016: Azerbaijan will resort to military escalation to divert attention from economic difficulties

    Politics 19:58 02/04/2016 Region
STRATFOR, a geopolitical intelligence firm, which provides strategic analysis, published a forecast regarding geopolitical processes expected in the second quarter of 2016.

According to the report, Azerbaijan will escalate the Nagorno Karabakh dispute between itself and Armenia as it tries to divert attention from domestic economic difficulties. Still, STRATFOR argues, major military hostilities are unlikely to break out.Russia and Turkey will try to influence talks between the two countries through their respective allies.

Earlier today, the press service of the NKR Ministry of Defense reported that on the night of April 1-2, as well as on April 2 in the morning, the Azerbaijani military forces undertook large-scale offensive actions along the entire perimeter of the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani troops, as a result of which, the military positions of the Armenian Armed Forces and peaceful human settlements are exposed to artillery firing.

According to the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Defense Army reports, on April 2in the morning, at 08:30 a.m. Yerevan time, Vaghinak Grigoryan, born in 2004,was killedand other two children were woundedas a result of artillery rocket firing from MM-21 (Grad) in the direction of Martuni.

According to updated information, Karabakh forces have destroyed twoof the adversary’s tanks in the south-eastern direction, and a tank and a UAV in the north-eastern direction. At about 12:30 p.m. Yerevan time, the NKR Air Defense forces downed one more military helicopter of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the south-eastern direction, and one UAV in the north-eastern direction.

All the above equated to extreme frustration from the turkic gang. Their frustrations turned to blind, stupid attacks.
Defeated nations, who don't believe in themselves usually imagine the most optimistic scenario. And they are wrong every time!

Erdogan has obtained everything he wants from USA, Germany, France, United Kingdom.. including 6 billion, in spite of helping ISIS

Obama and the others don't mind upsetting millions of their own citizens, who don't want to give anything to Erdogan

How much does Armenian opinion count for politicians in USA and other Western countries?

You failed to mention how he alienated all the kurds and divided his country to the brink of a civil war. Renewed animosity with Russia. Lost any hope to control Syria/Middle east. The turkish economy tanked, lost billions in Russian tourism. Most of the West is turning a blind eye for his deranged behavior. Let us see for how long.

NATO’s desperation on keeping turks in the club has been noted. The fact NATO is becoming another useless UN. All talk no action.

US’s opinion is irrelevant as long Russia’s opinion will stay positive towards Armenia. Today’s US are the Brits of yesterdays. It is about oil (not for long) and controlling Russia with its natural resources. This has been going on since the Napoleonic war. Western empires are all gone while their countries are being invaded by Islamic hordes. Russia is still here.

Thomas de Waal the pro British oil interest propagandist expressed the British stand on the conflict. It also reflects an overall US's interest in the region, excluding the Herya vs Iran want.

"Political scientist Thomas de Waal has told the radio station “Deutsche Welle” that the new developments in the region are taking place against the background of a new turning point in the Middle East conflict.

War is a great risk for Azerbaijan: Thomas de Waal

The Armenian side will benefit from the status quo. For Azerbaijan war is a great risk that threatens their government, as the golden era of economic development in Azerbaijan comes to its end. Oil prices fall and
Azerbaijan is entering a new phase,” - he said.

According to Mr. de Waal Karabakh is the only factor that can bring together Azerbaijanis against Armenians."
