The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

  • Western-financed Armenian "human rights activists" (and their anti-Armenian policy)

This topic is made to share information on "human rights activists" and NGO organisations specifically financed by the West, whose activists are composed of self-hating Armenians who are paid to influence Armenians and to introduce negativeness and pessimism in Armenian society.

And last but not least, to attack sacred Armenian institutions as the Armenian army and the Armenian church, to break our spirit and unity.

Re: Western-financed Armenian "human rights activists" (and their anti-Armenian polic

Let's begin with this idiot (he doesn't even look Armenian):

Armenian “civil defenders” as weapon of Azeri propaganda

PanARMENIAN.Net - Over the last week, 2 more Armenian soldiers were killed at contact line over Azeri ceasefire violation. Tragic incidents prove the war is not over, with the enemy waiting for a chance to strike. As it turns out, some of our compatriots are waging their own “war”, ready to sacrifice their motherland in pursuit of their own ambitions.

Yesterday, Nov 21, as reported by Armenian TV, a certain Armenian human rights advocate accused official Yerevan of “violating the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE)” at Brussels-hosted NATO session.

As PanARMENIAN.Net discovered, the person in question was identified as Helsinki Citizens' Assembly - Vanadzor Office NGO president Artur Sakunts. Even the fact that Azeri propaganda already excelled in vilifying Armenia, conveniently forgetting of Baku-initiated “arms race” and provocations at contact line was unable to stop Mr. Sakunts’ unfounded accusations.

So far, no international mission was able to accuse Armenia of CFE violation for one clear reason: the country does not violate the Treaty.

Sakunts, however, wasn’t in the least perturbed by an indignant response of other members of Armenian delegation, who were clearly unaware of “good intentions” of the human rights advocate.

One might ask himself, how is such a “defender of human rights”, the rights of Armenians, better that the threesome recently charged with state treason over spying for Azerbaijan?

    ---------------------------------------

    Organisation: Helsinki Citizens' Assembly
    Person in question: Artur Sakunts

Re: Western-financed Armenian "human rights activists" (and their anti-Armenian polic

Searching for Artur Sakunts name, I noticed he is very active in attacking important institutions in Armenia, here is one in which he attacks the Ministery of Defense and our army.

In a conversation with “Aravot”, human rights activist, Artur Sakunts, a member of the Army in Reality and Chairman of Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor, responded to Seyran Ohanyan’s statement: “Unfortunately, we have to record that the official department, in the person of the minister, publicly supports Vova Gasparyan’s assessments, which are directed against the public structures demanding to uncover the shady occurrences and murders in the armed forces, and to reveal and punish the officials involved in corruption. This means that the MoD themselves work against the army, by hiding the crimes committed in the armed forces. This is unfortunate.

On the other hand, the minister should give an answer on how effectively the grant projects provided within the framework of NATO-Armenia “Partnership for Peace” are utilized and whether there is ‘grant consuming’ there. It is one thing when a nonprofit organization receives a grant, and it is a different thing when state agencies, who have serious functions related to the protection of the country and the national security. We want to see where is the effectiveness of using those grants for making reforms in the army, when the murders still continue in the army and the corruption in the AF is not revealed.”
Stupid ignorant xxxx. There are murders and suicides happening at a huge scale in the American army, which has a budget of thousands of billions and had dozens of years of time to establish itself. Does thismean they are corrupt?

The Armenian army is a reflection of the Armenian society, does he think that putting together 18-20 year old Armenian boys, giving them weapons and learning them to kill, such accidents will not happen? Of course he understands this, but his mission is something different: he wants to blame the whole Armenian army, he wants to give the whole institution a bad name, and by this he undermines the security of Armenia itself.

The dirty little pig has to thank the Armenian army for it's professionalism, reforms and effectiveness, which is one of the reasons Azerbaijan does not dare to attack today.

Of course such accidents are bound to happen unfortunately, but there should be full transparency when it comes to such incidents for the sake of the grieving parents and family. And if there is a person responsible for the death they have to be brought to justice. We can always improve the army without attacking it or our country.

On another note, interestingly enough, I have heard from some people who have served that Yerevancis don't like serving in Karabakh is that the Karabakhtsi soldiers there don't like the Yerevanci conscripts and there is often tension. I also have a Karabakhtsi friend that told me a lot about serving on the front line and the incidents that happened on the border.

Although conscript armies are always problematic and most of the casualties, at the border or resulting from bullying are young inexperienced troops. The present culture of bullying and corruption is clearly very bad for morale and it needs to be stamped out.

Whilst it's really not my place to say. If I where Armenia's Defense minister. I'd fire the head of military police, haul in the military brass and give them some kind of a ultimatum. As the Armenian state has a mandate to uphold the rule of law and the military are not a body to be handled with kid gloves.

Maybe the Karabakhtsi soldiers just think that it won't be Azeri bullets that will loose them NK, it will be the pen of a Yerevan politician elected by those Yerevan conscripts.

The country needs an Enlightenment thinker before a twenty-first century human rights activist.

Whilst the British Council clearly has an agenda and you have to wonder just how many "human rights activists". They churn out of this little quisling factory.
