Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)
1] What you CAN NOT post.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene
You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)
The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!
2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.
This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.
3] Keep the focus.
Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.
4] Behave as you would in a public location.
This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.
5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.
Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.
Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.
7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.
- PLEASE READ -
Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.
8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)
If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

This discussion is about why Prime minister Karapetian's promises of billions of investments never happened. And will never happen.
On the side note, Armenia's lowyer's association is going to have elections for their president if you remember that few months ago the current president walked into the offices of dissident lawyer and with 2 other guys beat him up with his coworker and has never been brought to justice. So this same current president is going to be the sole candidate in upcoming elections. Soviet stile, you want it or not, it's him. And some members here think that I have a hang up for Soviet legacy.
This current leadership of lawyers association has made the sitizen's defence concept a joke. Judges in courtrooms break the constitution every day and attorneys cooperate with them. And of course courts do only what government and ruling party wants.
nightmare...

Hakob, I share your concern. It has been a moment of truth seeing Azerbaijani scandal after scandal surfacing in international media and seeing absolutely no reaction from our leaders in pointing how we are better than they are. Because we are not. Our politicians are so corrupt that they will keep silent on the corruption of other countries as to not rock the boat internally. A very telling event to witness.

Political scene that was so weak is now dead. It's like a dying society has slipped into old, customary "rigor mortis" condition.
Any possible active opposition that could create followers and troubles are in jail.
This, ergir tsirani, Elq and ORO have put themselfs out by participating in fraud elections that killed their public support (or gave opportunity to HHK to kill it).
This sistem has become so successful in killing Armenia's society that it is beyond scary.
Unless this leaders are removed, or actually system changed, which I doubt pretty much, no change will happen and the situation will continue to worsen.
Meanwhile the international politics today don't give much hope not only for us but the whole world of any positive developments.
We know that Armenia needs change to survive, but our political and national drive is in coma. Fragmented and without ideas.
For 25 years the debates have neither changed nor bore fruits.Last edited by Hakob; 09-08-2017, 08:57 AM.

I am beginning to think that the war with Azerbaijan is becoming a very appealing idea not only for Azeris but our leadership and society.
While for Baku it's mostly nationalist and leadership survival issue, for us it may become the only means to survive and prosper a bit.
If new Azerbaijani territories are liberated, so to speak, it is a way to plunder and prosper for few more years.
Turkish custom may become not only appealing for us one day, but the only means left for our elite.

I was very moved by the story of Terians letter about Charents and repercussions.
Seems the guilt is more complex and spread out than we know.
Kind of like today...
I want to see his words disputed, debated and dismissed before changing any names.
Otherwise we will be erasing our history and culture regularly, as usual, without direction and national agenda.Last edited by Hakob; 09-08-2017, 07:30 PM.

he biggins by saying that all this was meant against Russia, and ends by it, plus quoting a Tumanian? word warning against any pretentzia against Russia....
If you want facts, the easiyest ones comes to the way he presents Katin massacre, which is identical to the ridiculous claims of the Tchekists dating 1943....
There is no historical approach, it is the mouth of a communist low level commisar repeating the official line.
Not even the most retarded russian historian in Russia would dare to say something like that today.
And pay attention he sells himself, unconsciously, when he speaks by "Mez yen hantznvel..."
Repeat: MEZ.
His soul is soviet, and he is not even trying to hide it.....
Second easiyest page, we do not need archeologists to check.
This guy, with a very easy and honest tone, tries to do the exact job bolsheviks always excelled at, divide and poison the targetted society, that is us in this case.
He is innocently stating, that Dashnaks are to blame, for the exile of 3000 Nerkaghtoghs to Sibir in 1946, and not the Bolsheviks..... thaugh he admitts he has no proof for it....., since there can not be any other explanation...
As if the Bolsheviks needed rationals understandable by normal persons, from an Armenian perpective at least...
As if they did not execute, exile or persecute hundred of thousands of innocent Pows returning from german shtalags after 1945...., etc. , etc...
Kasian is a hero! Proof: he himself ended up eaten by the monster he served....
As if 99% of the criminals arround Vladimir iI. Ulyanov in 1917 did not end up killed by Beria/Stalin.... so they are all innocent??
His stinking voice comes from Stalin era, not even after it....
