Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

  • republican party still wants to be relevant. They want to negotiate and have power. I saw Sharmanazov talking with journalists today giving praise to serj and talking down to the journalists with an attitude. If Nikol gives in to karen karapetian when they talk there will realy be chaos in Armenia

    • Talks between karen karapetyan and nikol really canceled. Rally scheduled for Wednesday. Don' like where this is heading

      • "Pashinyan told a press conference earlier on Tuesday he was ready to become the country’s next Prime Minister

“If people put this responsibility on me, I’m ready to become the prime minister,” he told reporters.

He said he would not accept a new Prime Minister from the ranks of the ruling Republican Party. Pashinyan ruled out any sharp geopolitical moves if elected."

Typical! So if next Karen gets in the streets with supporters he should be the prime minister? Shet is going to hit the fan now!

Why do we need a government than? Let all future votes be by marching in the streets.
I care less who is in office as long they are honest, properly voted by the people, that will UNIT the country and not divide it.
This guy did good for what he did! Personally, I do not think he is a state quality.
We need civil behavior, specially someone not associated with the Herya Levon network.
A leader that is not always angry and yelling. We do not need another politician “My way or the hwy".
Someone that will be pro Russia for our security and open for the rest of the world.

Nicol has mentioned on several occasions he will not take extreme foreign policy steps. Russia has declared support for Armenia, and the government you speak of are criminals not a legit political party. Sharmanazov himself said they are not a political party but a family with Serj Sargsyan as their father who also possess loyal soldiers. These are his words about his "political party" HHK party must go they are bunch of thugs in suits who have put Armenia in this situation with almost 400,000 people leaving the country in the last10 years.

              • Too late he is tainted for being one sided. I want to see someone like Eduard Nalbandyan with the new president. They will be a nice clean neutral government and a clean chapter. The tugs will have to be gradually dumped by the people. We need to set the example of clean leadership for the people to act like one as well. Time for a full change not a maybe fix.

Nalbandian is not clean nore suited. Nobody in current government is out of criminal, corrupt clan.
Nalbandian has always been a Kremlin man.
This is a revolution, nothing short and only people’s candidate will become a PM.
Never even a word about from any previous election to Cary any republican trash into our future.
They sacrificed Seljuk and think that public may be pacified so they keep their chairs. Idiots.
If any future election is caried under government being even the sightest republican influence then that election will be rigged too. And that is what republicans are hoping for.
                  No and no.
Revolution is not over until a new prime minister dissolves current government and appoints a transition one to see the new elections.
No play of “Stalin” is dead, long live the communist party and government”.
Government has to be purged of republican scam.
Looks like the system is still there and trying to put up a fight and manipulate the events.
I worry that they will even spill blood for their power.
Azad, you don’t get it that no republican can be nice and clean medium in transition.

This time the people will dictate new government. You should care about who is in office because there is no one clean in republican high ranks. It’s the old communist culture there.
Pashinian is exactly the one to form new government. People trust him and he is the one.

He is not tainted because he is exactly on people’s side.
He is clean because his actions and struggle are against a horribly tainted and corrupt side for past 20 years, the republican government.
