Very well! I guess in your world Genocide has no value in human rights in today's world! I mean with all the scared people from a heinous crime that still has no justice to this day. Wow,that shows me how little contact I've had with any Armenians of any gender.
All the women in my family were shown complete and total respect by the men in my family and all people's I saw them come into contact with(not to mention us kids, for sure).
And I can remember several reasons(easily) for that.
(1)they were all very intelligent,(2)the way they carried themselves seemed to command respect,and (3)they wouldn't tolerate any less ,oh and(4)they would crush you with wonderful grace,reason, extremely swift wit and wisdom as well as enough venom to kill several whales.
Also every desired and sought and valued their input, both inside and outside the family and they had the ability to withhold that if ones conduct was not up to snuff.
I'm not familiar with the ?modern?russian(thug)influenced Armenian man though.
Thug & bigot seem similar in the Russian influence thing to me.

Living in proximity to the islamic world has rubbed off on armenians a number of ways and this is one example.

Those who are always blaming it on external influences seem to be searching for excuses for their behavior. Whether it was a result of Islamic or Russian influence, these are the attitudes of the average man in Armenia today (and some in the diaspora).

There are certainly Muslims and people "living in proximity" to Muslims that do not behave in this way. Let's confront these issues head-on and stop making excuses and broad generalizations.

My comment about Russian influence on the contemporary Armenian was me expressing my lack of knowledge of both the conduct of men in Armenia and what I thought was Siggie's generalization.
Sorry Sig your experience with Armenian men sucks. Clearly you've met none of my family.
