Everything I'm reading on the kerd conduct in Syria says kerds want all northern tear of Syria. As they move into each area they try to intimidate the non kerd villagers and towns to leave under the pretext that it's for their saftey (sound familiar ?) and when their successful emediatly level al the non Kurd homes and set up defensive works to hold the land. They are using this conflict to expand their claims of "kerdistoon).
Poor computer skills prevented me from posting the last conflict in recent days between them and the Assyrians. Basically they tried to run this game on some Assyrians that conjoined them to fight common foe. Then tried to assert their dominance over assyrian land. The Assyrians stomped them. One or two Assyrians were killed and I think at least 8 kerds bit the dust.
When we hear of and allied kerd/Assyr force it's mostly kerd PR. The Assyrians are watching like a hawk as their experience with the ever so lovely low life's mirrors our experience.
The kerd is using this conflict as an opportunity for them to grab more land.
Yes, I suppose I have to agree with you about our western border, but it's with great (GREAT) reluctance.
What lovely and precious neighbors they'll make.
So looking forward to that. Well that and cancer. I hear cancer has its upside to, lol.
I'm not so fond of the Assyrians as well.
During the Lebanese Civil War, the Assyrians allied themselves with the fascist Christian Lebanese Forces militia (ouwwet) and fought against the Armenians.
Every Assyrian I've met despises Armenians. One even told me that they prefer Muslims over Armenians. They're jealous as hell that they don't have a home land and we have one.

There are 30+ million of them, they don’t have a paved road built on their own.
I will trust a turk before I trust a kurd.

Observers say Turkey has become alarmed about increasing Russian, US support for group and militia in their fight against Islamic State group

"Turkey's Security Council announced Thursday that the PYD Syrian Kurdish group and its YPG militia have no future in Syria. Ankara has warned it could intervene militarily.

Observers say Turkey has become alarmed about increasing Russian and U.S. support for the group and militia in their fight against Islamic State."

GO ahead Turks, attack. The Russians will knock you senseless and the US/NATO won't lift a finger to help you.
