Well for the same reasons I stated before, I think it's very clear. Plus do you think that for example the Russians will need to keep soldiers stationed on the Turkish-Armenian border, or having any soldiers at all in Armenia? No. Moreover a lot of the things currently operated by Russians will eventually be bought out by the Turks. They'll be the ones having projects in Armenia not Russia.

Again you make statements based on nothing. I am begining to dought you rational ability now but i will still answer your question even if it is redundent. Since russia needs to protect its interests in Armenia and to maintain the antiturkish wedge, it will keep a sizeable military presence inside Armenia and it will defend its borders.Russia has to sell the infastructure for turckey to buy it and it is not going to sell it because it wants to control it. Please think about what is already posted, it is self explanitory.

The reason why all of this is happening in the diaspora is that the protocols are not simply an issue that concerns the Republic of Armenia and its current rulers, it concerns all Armenians whether inside or outside the borders. And the people who are discussing the protocols are precisely those who care most. We are all part of the same nation after all, we can all have our input. That is also the reason (or the advertised reason) why Sargsyan made a tour of the diaspora.

Serj went to the diaspora to explain why he was doing it, not to ask the permission of the diaspora. Yes it concerns all of the Armenians but not when the decision is made now it's time to think about the next step. And not to put our head in the sand like the Diaspora is doing and has been doing.

Besides, the diaspora has made considerable contributions to the country throughout the years, whether it was by keeping the spirit of Armenia alive during the Soviet years, helping during the earthquakes, the Artsakh war, and so on. However you make it look like the diaspora essentially does not care about the betterment of Armenia.

The Armenians didn't need you to keep the spirits high they were capable of doing it them selfs and they have done it. It's thanks to them that there is a Armenia today. It would be sad if they didn't do anything during the earthquake. However they could have done so much more, but they aren't willing to spend a lot of money on Armenia. The only thing they do is build a school or two and think everything is OK. And are you kidding me about the war, the war was fought by Hayastani and Artsakhi Hayer. There were more people from my home city gone fighting than there were from the Diaspora. More people from my neighborhood went to fight than from Lebanon came to fight. So in my eyes the Diaspora has done the minimum to help Armenia. And how many of those from the diaspora are prepared to go and live there. Not many are prepared to give up their lives and go to their home land.

only iran can be trusted if you ask me all others made some betrays in some time but the problem is will they help? i lived in iran for many years and i know their power they can even stand against america
im half armenian my dad is armenian he said he and his friends traveled from tabriz to nagorno-karabkah to fight! im so proud! but he get injured badly... he suffers still
we armenians in baron avak really want to show azerbaijan a lesson we always protest the day in april that i dont want to name it casue it make me really sick

While your comparing the numbers of people from where who went to fight, you may also want to mention that the diaspora has a few times the number of young men that live in Armenia yet compared to the % of the population of men in Armenia fighting and those from diaspora its like a 1000 to 1. This is the biggest reason the diaspora stays so defient because its not their sons getting killed.

Have you gone to Artsakh to fight there? Have you suffered in the 93 winter? Or do you know what it is to see that there is not enough food to feed your child? No you haven't seen any of those things, but you still dare to speak sitting safe in the Diaspora. It will not be your family dying when a war starts, it will not be your home that will be destroyed. It's easy to talk from the diaspora, very easy.

The greatness of Armenia will not come from the diaspora(in a generation or two it will not exist any more, the ones that are willing will return to Hayastan and the rest will assimilated in the populations of their country) but from the people of Hayastan. It will be the people from Hayastan reclaiming our lands with our blood.

Haykakan, my answer to you and many Armenians will not be acceptable. All I can say is that for me it is better to be dead and cool than alive and uncool. Remember, I said for me, not Hayastan.

I do not question "the Armenians" (referring to those living in Armenia) determination to have an independent country, but in all these cases the diaspora had the choice not to do anything. Yet they didn't stay indifferent and are still not indifferent today.
