Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Nah, I think it's more because when the wife brings home the paycheck, she starts demanding even more things like a bigger house, fancier car, etc. and it ends up doubling the debt. Look honey, with both incomes we can afford a quarter million dollar mortgage Happiness in slavery

The government should make military service compulsory for both men and women, there should be no distinctions between the two, women can be as good and even better generals, captains and soldiers than men.

The problem is society has always seen women as weak and dependent, since they are children they are taught that if they don't have children and marry, they can't be happy and 'complete' as women. Women often like to see themselves as inferior, in our society, women is nothing more than a sexual object in many cases. And the worst of all is that they like it and are comfortable with it.

Other issues is the fact that women have misunderstood what "feminine liberation" means, they took it as "If he cheats on me, then I am going to cheat on him twice", you know what I mean? If men are idiots, then we have to be idiots too, and even more, we have to be twice as much idiots.

Women must serve in the army, not just as nurses or etc. they have to be soldiers, generals, lieutenants, captains, they also form part of our society and must act as so, they are the daughters of Armenia and women have always been an important part of our country. Mother Armenia guards our homeland, and her daughters must do it as well.

I really don't know where people get their views. After WWI, most families struggled to make ends meet and women were commonly in the work force. My grandmother was working to make ends meet when she met my grandfather. She only stayed home after she had kids. And if you've ever had to watch a baby or a toddler, believe me, it's more than a full time job. Then when they migrated to North America, they had to start all over again working odd jobs in hospitals folding towels and bedsheets, etc. until retirement. Not once were they confused about what they had to do to survive. In every culture, it has been women who kept families together, households in order and they did more than their share of work.

It doesn't matter what you or I think women should or should not do. They should be the ones deciding where to fit into society. Now if you take North America as a model for women's liberation.... then they have decided to either stay home while the men go to work or work very long, dedicated hours which keeps them from raising a family. What this has done is created a society where the household with the 1 income family can't afford to pay for the wife and kids because he's in direct competition with the household with 2 incomes and no kids. Then the juggling that goes into both parents working and running the kids to day care everyday is even more hectic. And if you have to put 2 kids into daycare... forget it, you might as well just stay home because now it's costing you money to go to work

What you are basing on though is the Capitalist mode of production, and the one that existed since the Industrial Revolution, things were different before and different classes had different laws, feel free to consult a history book.

And your point is? Are you going to let the system control you or do something about it?

Staying in the current mode of production IS staying with being controlled, because you are basing what Capitalist slave drivers told you to do when they started to exploit the Proletariat, if you do something about it, you do it by removing the division of labour, which is what Haykakan and Ashot is refering to

Communist slave drivers are worse than Capitalist slave drivers. Removing the division of labor allows for the distribution of wages at an even level.

"Communist" , there has never been a Communist state, and the Soviet Union had wage slavery still, meaning it was about as Socialist as China is today, a socialist economy is nationalized and worker controlled... I recommend that you check out http://www.marxist.com, that explain the proper point.

Oh, you're one of those Marxism like Capitalism sounds like a good idea on paper In reality what happens is those in power take the Capital away from those that earned what they had and make it look like they are Robin Hood but instead put the profits in their pocket.
